MAGNUM MAGN-ME-ARC50 / Remote Control Advanced ME Series

This thing does so much with so many types of batteries

I previously used to have the ME-RC50, which could be quite tedious to use because you to keep clicking and scrolling through menus to view different inverter parameters and some of the options are quite restrictive (eg. shore power only has settings of 10, 15, 20 and 30A). The ARC50 provides a lot more options, and most importantly the favorites menu which provides quick access to the most frequently viewed parameters or settings. For a Magnum inverter, the ARC50 is an excellent device and has worked very well for me so far. However, I would leave my rating at 4 star rather than 5 star because Magnum can do better with the graphics as well as provide for measurement of input/output current and input voltage, which you can get with a lot more on the Blue Power Panel for Victron Energy inverters.

Do not buy this.I called over 15 times into tech support to get this unit to work properly. It never worked properly/correctly.In fact, it caused major power issues.It kept turning off my inverter at random intervals.Inverter was same manufacturer as this unit.I will never buy one of their products again.

Haven’t installed yet but good faith that it’ll be as advertised by the Wynns.
