Great bias light!
Well, got these based on a recommendation from an ISF calibrator who calibrated my tv set. They do make a huge difference. My wife was skeptical and thought it was a waste until she watched a few movies with it on and now reminds me to turn them on if I forget. You can feel they are easier on the eyes when watching in darkness. These are only one color level, no changing colors here, however, you can adjust the brightness. The full brightness is overkill in my opinion if watching in pitch blackness, it creates to much contrast. They are installed on an 65" LG C8.The installation on these needs to be planned out. Layout the strips first on the ground to simulate the placement on the TV before pulling the backing strips off the adhesive. There is a lot of excess wire so if you're a cable management nut like me, take your time to devise a way to neatly hide all of the wire. I used a few cable ties and some adhesive wire clips to keep the mass of wires against the back of the tv and out of sight.

Surprised and delighted!
Most amazing customer service EVER. I ordered this product toward the end of December. Living in Hawaii, I’m used to Prime shipping taking much longer than on the mainland, but by the end of the second week of January, it still wasn’t here, and the estimated arrival date had come and gone, so I contacted the company to check to see what was happening. Jason confirmed that my order should have arrived already, but that it appeared it may not have shipped, so he cancelled my order and sent me a replacement — NO CHARGE. Totally wasn’t expecting this! Reminds me of the days when Apple would try to “surprise and delight” its customers when they messed up. True to promise, the replacement has arrived, and I’ve already installed it on my Sony 75x900e, and it looks fantastic!Since other users reported weird behavior from the USB ports on their Sony TVs (powering on randomly, when the TV is off) (a Sony glitch, NOT a defect of this product), I bought a USB extension cord and a smart plug, and I can now control the bias lights with my Amazon echos. The media lights controller remembers the last state it was in (brightness level), so all I have to do is tell Alexa to turn on the “TV lights”, and they’re ready to go. The color temp of these lights is perfect, too, 6500k as promised. One word of advice: make sure you check to see the length of cord attached to each strip, and plan out your installation better than I did. I didn’t realize that the cords are different lengths, and I bone-headedly put the shortest cord on the far end of the TV, and it wouldn’t reach the hub. Might not be an issue on a smaller TV, but definitely won’t span a 75” set. Luckily, the adhesive let me remove it and replace it, but if it starts peeling in the future, that will be my fault. I can always use new double sided sticky tape, if needed.Anyway, fantastic product and amazing company! I will definitely be a repeat customer, and recommend to everyone!!!UPDATE May 2020: Over two years later, and these bias lights are still working flawlessly. The adhesive is not peeling at all. I love being able to turn on and off the lights with Alexa. Highly recommend that setup. Friends are amazed by the look and performance and always assume the lights are built in to the TV. When they learn otherwise, they immediately want to know how to do it themselves. Hard to take accurate photos because the exposure is thrown off by the bias lights and ambient room lighting, but I’ll include one anyway. Had to turn down the room lights to get the glow to really show up in the photo. In real life, the lighting is subtle, as it should be (and I have the LED brightness turned way down). Very happy with these lights!

Great! Highly recommend to improve TV picture quality appearance
Great! Highly recommend to improve TV picture quality appearance. Now that I started using media lights I can see what a positive difference they make.Using them with Sony 85X900F. As the TV is 85” they are a little short but if you install them a bit further away from the edge it helps diffuse the light a bit to make it more even. Hope they’ll start making a bit longer version. But these are good enough.Right color temperature with high CRI.One more thing I would improve is the remote/IR sensor. It’s not sensitive enough. I really need to point a remote to the sensor and be close enough to register. Also, wanted to power it from outlet instead of TV so that I could use lutron lamp dimmer to turn on/off with my phone/HomeKit, but it doesn’t work unfortunately. Perhaps they could add direct HomeKit comparitibility in the future.

Lights are good
The lights are fine. The remote receiver, however, is negatively interacting with my TV remote. Every time I click with my TV remote, it changes the settings (and even turns off) the lights.EDIT: After writing my review, the seller reached out to me and offered me a different type of receiver that would not conflict with my TV. The new receiver works great and I am updating my review to reflect that.

Really reduces eye strain
I recently finished our smaller home theater, and we found the 65" LG LCD there could overwhelm us when watching movies. Even after calibrating the set, bright scenes were almost painful to watch. We moved floor and table lamps around, making sure none glared on the screen, but remained unhappy with the balance in the room. Adding these LED strips was an excellent way to relieve our eye strain. At first, it seemed like the lights weren't actually adding much, even on maximum brightness. The walls are painted a fairly dark color with a flat finish, specifically to reduce glare, and we thought that might be the culprit. Then we turned off the LED strips and WOW did we notice the difference. We immediately turned them back on, left them at maximum brightness, and have enjoyed our new space much more ever since. Easy to install, but it *did* take a bit of time to neatly wrap up all the wiring. The kit is excellent, though, and includes everything needed to do a clean installation.

Enough for two
Love this product. There was enough for me to do two monitors for my dual monitor setup. It’s a little difficult to install in terms of managing all of the cables to get them hidden well. Also, the remote needs line of site with the little sensor so be aware of that before picking the permanent places of some of the cables.Instructions were pretty much nonexistent, but it’s really not that hard to figure out.
