Dynatek 2000i Ignition D2KI-1P

Second time I have converted a shovel to electronic ignition using this system. Pretty straight forward, just follow the directions. May have to open the hole in the nosecone so the lead will fit with insulation, and exercise some patience (which mine get stretched thin sometimes). Hope this one is as reliable as the last one I converted. If you have been around a shovel for a while you will notice a little change in the sound due to the single fire mode. Sure like the quick easy start every time! Also like the rev limiter, helps keep me in check, and the motor as well. If you don't have the correct coil order the combination. And don't forget the gold cup, it doesn't come with the ignition module, you will need it.

Great upgrade to the old stock ignition on my 90 FXR. Wire set could have been longer. I had to add about a foot to the wire lengths for a clean run up to the coil.

Replaced a failed ignition module on my sporty. The bike runs better than it ever has since I have had it. Very easy to install and configure. I used the factory harness and installed new pins on the dynatek module for a nice clean factory looking installation.Excellent product for the money!

This was exactly what I was looking for! I had a Crane cam that had been in the bike for 18 years and I can't say enough about it's longevity. However when it came time to replace it Crane was way out of my price point. I was a little hesitant at first to purchase the Dynatek 2000i but after reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a try. Put it in and after a little fine tuning, my bike runs amazing! It woke my '97 Rodking up! It has unleashed power I haven't had from it in a long time. Now to see if I can get the longevity out of this one??? Only time will tell.

The second unit I got worked great. The first one failed after the bike ran for 10 minutes. The company had me bring the unit to a local company so it could be shipped back for testing. A guy from dynatek called me and told me it worked fine and they were gonna send it back. I told him to please send me a new one that the unit in qustion is no good. He then told me he would test it further and get back to me. The next day a different person called me from Dynojet which was the local company where I dropped off the defective unit. The guy from Dynojet told me to come down to pick up a new unit that he had for me. So I would have to say in the end I got a good product my bike runs great but the service was crappy.

The bike still needs a new program so I can kick start it. But they have tried to help

This really helped dial in the performance to my 98 FXD wide glide. I had a stage 1 intake and exhaust. I took it for a dyno baseline run after installation and they didn't want to change any of the tuned parameters and I saw a horsepower and torque increase that was felt when I ride it. Nice piece of equipment and easy to install. Rather than install outside of the wiring harness I installed using the stock wiring harness and in conjunction with screaming eagle dual single fire ignition coils this machine runs well. Bike fired right up after installation.

presa per sostituire una twin tech su hd sportster del 90, come sempre una garanzia di qualità. assolutamente soddisfatto e marchio che rimane di prima scelta (ne ho montate anche su altre moto), consigliatissima!confrontata con unna twin tech (nel mio caso una 1005 montata precedentemente) la dyna si presenta più "snella", quindi più facile da inserire nel nose cone.inoltre i vari settaggi sono molto più "morbidi" se paragonati a quelli twin tech, che anche nell'impostazione stock tende ad essere più anticipata.
