It does a good job of noise cancelation. It doesn’t have enough volume adjustment. The knob works in levels, 0-9 rather than continuous from nothing to lout. I find 1 to be too loud, and zero is mute. So it’s kind of useless. But it has a screen so you can see what station it’s on and it is inexpensive compared to the others. There isn’t any battery indication. The screen fades with low battery, but otherwise it just goes out without any low battery warning. the radio stopped working 8 months later, but I got out the ear covers, forced them into my old pair, so they continue on as donor parts.

Got a clearance price on these and for the money I'd rate them as pretty good. Setting and calling up stations is a cumbersome process but the volume control is a nice little knob at the bottom of the right ear cup and is very easy to use. Blocks out a lot of noise - so much so that I won't be buying separate noise reducing ear muffs to go to the shooting range. I'll just use these and can have some music too. Overall, pretty happy.

The earphones keep out most noises for me.The radio works great, and the range includes the signals used at my gym so I can listen to the audio that goes with the TVs they have on the wall.I need a positive "on/off" switch because it seems too easy to leave it on, which runs down the battery.

Bought these for my father to use up at the farms, cutting wood, and mowing around my parents house. He loves them!!! He doesn't normally say how great something is, but he mentioned them to mom and then directly too me. Mom wanted to know where I purchased them so she an buy another pair for him to take back and forth between the farms and leave a set at the house. Also, purchasing a second set for my nephew for Christmas.

It works good but expected it to be rechargeable for the price I paid. I dont think it is worth value. I use it to cut grass and other yard work.

VERY EASY TO SET UP, ONCE UP AND RUNNING, THE SOUND IF GREAT, NOT TOO LOUD, NOT WHERE YOU CAN'T HEAR ANYTHING, EVEN TURNED UP ALL THE WAY, WILL NOT BREAK YOUR EAR DRUMS WITH A HIGH VOLUME, THE CUPS FIT OVER YOUR EARS AND PROVIDE EXCELLENT PROTECTION, WELL WORTH THE MONEY, THIS IS THE SECOND PAIR I HAVE AND BOTH WORK GREAT!

It works. I did not find the directions to be particularly helpful. Be careful when opening the unidentified battery cover located on the earpiece without the radio apparatus. Positioning of the antenna may be challenging. To reduce static I am using a Velcro tie to hold the antenna in position. I read posted reviews and in light of those found the product when received to be better than I expected.
