Review: AAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh....................... - Oh, these - are - nice! I recently ordered a different product. In fact, the UPS guy picked them up when he delivered these today. The other was made of the same soft gel that these are, but it fit over the big toe plus the next toe. After 30 minutes, I thought for sure I was going to take my sock off to find a purple big toe! Boy, that hurt. Went back on desertcart and looked some more. Finally found these, and the ratings seemed considerably higher than most all of the other bunion products, including the ones that just went back. I took one of these and put it between the two toes, expecting to only have it in for a few minutes. It IS the large size, after all....right? Well, much to my surprise, I wore it in the house for about an hour and everything felt just fine; like I'd just started using it. I even forgot it was there a few times. Not at all like that annoying feeling when you have a big ball of lint that has collected between your toes. No, this is actually quite comfortable. As it was a nice day, I went out to do a little 'work' (does desertcart allow such 4-letter words here??). I put on my new Kamik boots and trudged outside and into the waiting snow. Spent more than 2 hours going hard at it....OK, hard for me. Moved a lot of snow, carried some steel for an upcoming project, changed batteries in the outdoor sensor for the thermometer, and played with the cats (aka; The Kids). Most of the time I had totally forgotten about the gel thingy between my toes. Was it even there? Did I leave it on my desk next to the keyboard? Got done for the day and came inside. Commented to the wife how amazed I was that it still was not causing any pain. ....Just had to open my mouth, didn't I!?! Not 5 minutes later I had to remove the gel insert. The outside of the bunion was red; don't know if from rubbing in my boot or if from the new position that the insert put my toe in. In any case, I removed the insert and all was good. No lasting pain or discomfort, like with that other thing I'd just returned. So, if you have bunions, these MIGHT just help you! Everyone is different, so it's wonderful that we can try things and, if they don't work out for us, we can return them to desertcart. So here's a huge shout-out to desertcart -- THANK YOU!! Go ahead, try these. I bet most folks will be happy they did! Nope, not done yet. Another reviewer mentioned that they had to remove their insert after a few hours. They then explained that the more time went by, the longer they could use these inserts and, eventually over time, there was no more pain. I cannot attest to that, as I just got these today! ....What, you're still here? Go home. I'm done. ;-)
Review: A must have when wearing shoes - gave me so much relief from my - These are so cushiony and have made a definite improvement in my foot pain from my bunions and my big toe turning inward. They are squishy and feel so good. I still have pain at the end of the day but as long as I have shoes on with these spacers, I have no pain. May wear my shoes and these spacers to bed. Just kidding. I do recommend these.

These are so cushiony and have made a definite improvement in my foot pain from my bunions and my big toe turning inward. They are squishy and feel so good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great spacers, tricky to ensure they fit when socks are pulled over

I have thin feet and my big toe gets sore on the side because the toe next to it pushes into the side. I have used cotton balls as a spacer and they are great for a little while and then slip out of place. These spacers are made with a very cushy silicone like gel. They look like miniature I beams with thin layers os the silicone as beams to hold the spacer in place. One of the top bars is much thinner than the other. This is important to know as I originally thought I would place the thin beam below my toes (ie when walking I would "feel" it less.) Well, I found that is a really hard way to use as when you pull up your socks, the thicker beam on top will pull up and bend over a bit creating a hump under the sock. Reversing it so that the thin beam is on top makes it a whole lot easier. The beam will still bend up a bit on occasion, but with a little patience you can pinch through the sock and get it to lay flat. Once the sock is up, the spacers have never shown a problem. They are very comfortable and I wear them all day without any difficulty. (Twice now I have gone to bed, pulled off my socks and called in a night - forgetting I had the spacers in place..) Do they work? for me they are a perfect solution. My pain on the side of my toe is gone and I am now finding I don't even have to wear the spacers very day. I have not tried to clean them yet... Being soft cushy silicone I expect them to be a bit challenging to clean. But they really don't pick up much. I would also recommend being careful with the size for what you need. I bought the large based upon reading reviews. For between my big toe and the next, the size is perfect. (I am a B width, size 11 mens. But if I was looking to space between some of my smaller toes, I think these would be too big. Net: I am very happy with the product. Just be aware when you get them to watch how the spacers are placed to make out easiest for you to pull socks over.
