Amazon Basics Extra Thick Exercise Yoga Mat with Carrying Strap

I’ve been really happy with this yoga mat. I primarily use it for stretching and it provides a comfortable surface without being too soft or squishy. It has a good amount of cushioning, stays in place well, and is easy to roll up and put away when I’m finished. The mat is thick and provides nice cushion. I now look forward to my morning stretches. For the price, I think it’s a great value and exactly what I was looking for.

This mat is everything I wanted it to be! The pink color is bright and fun, and the thinkness of the mat is just right for me. It is plush but also supportive. I felt stable doing floor work and standing poses, as well as downward dog, bird dog etc. I have not experienced any slippage on the hard wood floor or hard wood deck. It is perfect for floor stretching and does not hurt my knees or wrists. The thickness is enough to support every part of my body. It is extra long and the carrying strap is simple to attach and makes me feel so put together! Like a cool girl heading to yoga class! 😁 Also, while sweating I did not notice any negative change to the mat. Highly recommend!

The foam feels soft but still bounces back into shape after use, which is nice for everyday workouts. That said, there are a couple of small downsides. Because it’s softer foam, it can show dents or wear over time, especially if you use it for high-impact workouts or with shoes. Also, for more advanced yoga poses that require a lot of balance, it might feel a bit too cushy. Overall, this is a great budget-friendly mat that’s especially good for beginners or anyone doing home workouts. It’s comfortable, easy to use, and practical—exactly what most people need for everyday fitness.

Comfortable, good for yoga and calisthenics. The thickness makes it feel good on really any floor I’ve tried it on, I’m 6ft tall and I can comfortably do any pose or workout on it without worrying about reaching too far. It has ALOT of memory to it though, it holds the curl from being rolled up for a bit after rolling out, not the end of the world but worth mentioning.

Love the thickness of this may. It lays flat even when rolled for extended periods. It's super soft, easy to wipe down, and a great value.

1 year later review: I really love this Blue colored yoga mat with 0.5 inch thickness. It has very low wear and tear, and the cushioning is really good for the knee support. It was a good price compared to few other high end yoga mat at the time, and has tested true for durability and performance. Will highly recommend this product.

It's ok! It's really thick and feels nice. It has a very strong stinky chemical smell. I aired it outside for two days and also sprayed it with hospital-grade cleaner. The smell was reduced but is still there. I sprayed it with perfume next, on both sides. It is better but the stinky chemical smell is still present. I paid $42 so probably not worth it at that price point. I usually love Amazon Basics and it's my first time having a poor experience with the brand. I don't think I can return it since I sprayed it with so much stuff. Really a pity.

Lo compré porque tiene mucho espesor y es muy cómoda pero prácticamente es igual de cómoda que una de 2cm incluso 1'5cm, el problema es que abulta demasiado al enrollarla y no es cómoda para transportarla, es más para tener en casa. Otro punto negativo es que parece que absorbe la humedad como una esponja recomiendo ponerle una toalla encima al usarla. Del tema de olores que se comentan puedo decir que después de dejarla colgada varios días al aire libre en el exterior no huele nada, pero si se humedece si que se aprecia un ligero olor a plástico pero nada significante

Amazing quality, and it's nice and thick. Worth more than the actual price. I'm happy.
