I honestly had such high hopes for this. And to be completely honest: it worked AMAZING for the first. Then it just has worked maybe twice out of the last 2 months. Now it just struggles to find connect and even if it says it has connection it actually doesn’t. I spend basically 5 hours on a train a day for work and wanted to be able to work on files during my commute but this just doesn’t work. I have 3 15GB plans that I have used maybe 5% in so that, plus the actual device will all be a waste of money. It also sucks a lot that I encourages other people in my circle to buy it but I hope they didn’t because this was a serious let down. Save yourself the money and stress and go with something else.

I upgraded my head unit for the "latest and greatest" android auto experience, but I discovered I really don't like apple's carplay interface (wired or wireless) and I felt like it was a waste getting a dedicated SIM card just for the head unit. My problem with apple is that the hotspot only becomes available for non-apple devices if you go to the settings->hotspot menu. This product gives the head unit's little android brain enough internet access for maps and music at a monthly cost I can swallow. I leave it plugged in and powered off accessory power and the head unit picks it up immediately. The caveat is that the data rates are pretty slow, on par with what you get from a "real" carrier after you run into the data limit for the month, but its more than fast enough for all the things I'd do in a car while driving.

This is a great invention. I love this product !! So convenient , and pocket size. I would most Definitely recommend this product.

Works as it should, was very easy after powering it on, had no issues at all with this hotspot:)
