My dermatologist instructed me to get a gel that was 5% lidocaine. I know this says it is for hemorrhoids, but it works equally well for tattoos, piercing, and laser hair removal. I put a decent amount on 30 minutes before my appointment, and then a very light layer on, just in case, 15 minutes before my appointment since I am doing sensitive areas for laser hair removal. The aesthetician was able to turn the laser two levels higher than my previous session because I was not jumping in pain. Coming from someone who is very sensitive, I highly recommend this! It works.

I bought this for a laser hair appointment i had coming up to help numb for the pain, and absolutely wonderful! Works so good i didnt even really feel anything. 10/10 reccomend!

My kiddo is scared to death of shots so I figured I'd try this and if it worked, I could avoid a meltdown at the doctors.I give myself frequent subcutaneous injections so I tried it out on myself before I told my kiddo it'd work. I followed all the instructions to a T and there was absolutely no difference in pain feeling. Now I give myself these shots often so I am well aware of what they feel like. I tried it with a second shot just to make sure I wasn't being too hard of a judge. Yup, no difference what so ever.To quote from the product's page: "It can be used to prepare for medical procedures such as injections." I know about injections- did not work.

I use this, along with medication, for breakthrough wound pain. It is such a relief to have this extra help. It works in seconds.

Alright ... so I didn’t hate this product and I’m sure it works well for what it is intended for . Now I did read reviews and thought this would be a perfect option.. I bought this solely to get my nipples pierced .. yes I am a chicken and didnt wanna feel the pain lol 😂 but I put this in my nipples with plastic wrap and left it for an hour like I had read in some reviews... well it may have filled them out slightly but let me tell you I FELT IT ALL!!!!!!! this might be a great product for tattoos or other simple piercings but dont my friends try this on your nipples !

I accidentally ordered this instead of Numbskin. I didn't realize this was the hemorrhoid version haha. I still used it for my tattoo and it worked about the same. You get about 2.5hrs of numbness...then it wears. But overall good product.

I have used several lidocaine creams. This doesn’t feel like it has the full 5% lidocaine power. I could have used bengay and received better results

I have use several different brands of numbing creams and this but far has delivered the best results.
