Perfect for Spring/Fall in 40-60°F (5-15°C) + layering, but not completely waterproof
So much to like about this jacket. Good for spring/autumn 40-60°F (5-15°C) temps with a long-sleeve cotton shirt, or add layers if needed. I’m 5’4” and 145bs with curves and a large was pleasantly roomy!Pros: (1) True to size, it had plenty of room for a fleece vest or knit sweater, and has an adjustable drawstring to give you some shape; (2) Great length, the back is slightly longer so it covers your butt when you sit down, and also makes petite women look taller; (3) Style has the bottom half flaring out a little, which is perfect for pear-shaped bodies, I was even able to zip it up while wearing a fanny pack while traveling in heavy-pickpocket areas; (4) Fleece lining is decently warm without adding bulk, and is somewhat windproof; (5) Hood is also fleece-lined and not flimsy, it stays on; (6) High collar offers extra warmth; (6) water-repellant and still breathable, otherwise I’d feel clammy and overheated; (7) sleeves were a tad long but looked fine when I adjusted the Velcro wrists, and I can tuck my hands in the sleeves if I forget my gloves; (8) solid fabric, smooth and well-stitched… doesn’t feel like plastic or polyester; and (9) I love the classy deep navy color with dark grey interior, I don’t want to wear a black jacket in springtime!Cons: (1) Water-repellant means it’s okay for walking briefly through a rain shower, but NOT a downpour (I have a spray-on product that I can use to make it more waterproof, but I’m afraid it might not be as breathable); and (2) the wide seam break at the bottom of the zipper is a little weird but not a dealbreaker.Honestly it’s one of the best mid-weight jackets I’ve ever owned. Very comfortable. Soft fabric and thicker/warmer than a windbreaker. The only thing missing is thumbholes. Price is comparatively good.I added a photo showing water beading on the sleeve when it started showering as I walked my dog. If you are going on a trip with unpredictable weather, don’t rely on this to be completely waterproof—buy a cheap disposable plastic poncho for $4 to wear over it during emergency downpours.

Outdoor ventures soft shell insultated long rain jacket.
I wore it today for the 1st. time. I like that it is so soft & warm. I ordered the purplish red heather & it is so pretty! It reminds me of a mauve color. There was supposed to be showers today, but it hasn't rained yet. I like that the hood is detachable, & the pockets are deep & they zip closed. The lining is not bulky, but soft & warm. I like the longer length that falls below my hips.

ONE STOP 🛑 Stylish, Warm, Fits, Good quality material
A must purchase if you want to look somewhat fashionable, dry and warm.Material is awesome Im 5 4’ and 210lbs heavy chested usually wear Lg-XL but went with XXL Glad I did. It is true to size but wanted more space to wear underneath clothingIt has a A-lined shape to it that’s flattering to my very straight bodyUpdate 2-4-25So I bought this for my Seattle trip. It snowed and rained and let me tell you this kept me warm. I love that there’s deep pockets in the lining that I was able to put my water bottle and on the other side, my phone and the outside pockets had zipper, and the pockets were deep.I would recommend on upsizing, especially if you’re gonna stash your jacket with all kind of stuff like I did and also there’s a string underneath the lining to make it slimming.

Amazing plus size coat (updated March 2025)
I don’t often write reviews but I had to on this. I was looking for a comfortable and fashionable coat for a plus size body. It was great! I sized up to ensure it would fit over a sweater and the 4x was perfect. The double way zip is a life saver for comfortable sitting in the jacket. However I finally wore it in rain for the first time last week and it is definitely NOT water proof- more water RESISTANT. Still worked for me but it was a shock.

Staple Jacket in my wardrobe
This jacket was a last minute purchase and I was super happy with the purchase. There are a few things I can say so let’s begin:Pros:This jacket was made of superb quality and I know it will last me a good while. The detachable hood makes it easy to wear on those lesser cold days. The hood is also large enough to cover my head and face so if it is raining I am still good. The lining is super soft and warm - Not suffocating warm but enough that if you have a light shirt underneath you won’t die, it’s breathable. The jacket is waterproof and that was tested on the first day I wore it. There was a medium shower and I was able to walk in the rain and didn’t get wet. The jacket inside stayed dried too. The length is perfect as well as I’m 5ft 5inches and it was mid thigh for me. I loved that it covered my bum.I had sized up because I wanted to have enough room for sweater if I needed to and that worked perfectly. I am normally an XL in this brand and I went with the 2XL and it was perfect.ConsThe only con is have with this jacket is that the arm was a little too long for me. I got it in a 2XL. While this is a con, I had forgotten my gloves and the long sleeves were able to help me out there. I am just thinking of everyday wear where the sleeve would bother me.I also wished the sleeves had a Velcro latch that would make a huge difference with the length.Overall, this is a very good value for money without breaking the bank. It is quite roomy but not too bulky. The length is perfect for me and the quality material is amazing. Very happy with my purchase.

Nice coat
Great lightweight coat for milder winter day in Florida, altho I’d hoped for a bit heavier lining. Waterproof, beautiful fit that conforms to your body, true to size, windbreaker. Quality fabric. Covers your backside. Functional pockets. Sage green color is pretty. Washes well.

Great coat, but sleeves are too short for me.
I'm 5'7 and I typically wear a large in tops, but based on reviews, I got an XL. Fit was good, although I prefer a little oversized, so I would have likely been happier with an XXL. However, the sleeves were a bit short for me and kept sliding up above my wrists. The coat is very warm, color is great (photo was good representation for the green), pockets are fantastic. I think the sleeves are going to be a dealbreaker for me, though.
