Works great. Happy with it.
Does what it needs to, 9 year old son loves it. Make and receive calls and texts. Texts not so simple, but mainly using it for calls. To insert sim, remove 4 screws, slide bracket/clip upwards first, then it lifts up so you can put the card in. Make sure you push it down and slide the metal clip back to lock in place.

Not bad for the price
I had no trouble getting the watch to work. Due to bad experiences with other watches breaking in the first few days, I had my daughter just wear it as a watch for a while. The screen did not fail, and the pins in the band did not pop out like other watches, so I set up the SIM card ( GPS Tracker Triple Cut SIM Card Starter Kit - No Contract (Universal SIM: Standard, Micro, Nano)For 2G 3G 4G Devices ) via the SmartTalk website. Then I put the SIM card in the phone and tested it out. I could call and text from the watch without issue (though texting is old-school T9, haven't taught my kid how to use it yet). The watch could also call and receive texts without issue. If you don't want to spend a lot of money on a watch phone for your kid, try this one. It seems to be sturdy. I just wish it had a GPS option, but based on my experiences with other knockoff watches that did have GPS, I'd rather have a phone watch that works than a GPS watch that doesn't.

This watch keeps shutting off and won't tell the right time no matter how many times I set it to the right time. It also has a few things in Chinese that I cannot change. Not worth it.

A little difficult to figure out where to put the ...
A little difficult to figure out where to put the SIM (by the way, you have to unscrew 2 sets of screws. 4 the first cover and then 2 for the next cover and then you have to lift/pry the silver bracket on the top right. I thought I was going to break the thing. Didn't but it just didn't feel natural). Otherwise, I wish the battery life was longer. Only lasts a few hours. :(

I purchased a used one, but it wouldn’t turn on
I purposefully bought a used one (for a few reasons: cheaper price, keeps the trash down a bit, if nothing else). Once I got it, I charged it overnight. I went to turn it on. It made a quick noise, and that was all. Never again did it make noise, and never did the screen turn on.
