These are able to hold my heavy studio light in the ceiling with no issues at all. They are a wireless studio strobe with a diffuser and rechargeable battery, whole rig weights like 15 LBS and this hangs from the ceiling with no problems at all. It's super sturdy and I have no problem trusting $900 worth of equipment with it. Would buy again.

I have a lower than optimal ceiling in my home studio and I used this item to mount a flash head and 22" beauty dish directly to the beams. It makes it so much easier than a light stand, boom arm and counterweights. Safer too. Easy to mount.. I used 3" wood screws. Just make sure the heads are larger than the holes in the mount.

It's a lighting stud with a 1/4" end as well. Centering that 1/4" with lack of any adjustment on the mount is frustrating.Buy them when they are 75% off. Prepare to swear at the designer. Move on.

Use for ceiling mount video light with barn doors. Had to add an extension because the light was too close to ceiling to be adjusted. Will purchase again for an additional light

I got these to hang some LED light boards for my home teaching studio. They are solid medal, with mounts that mate well with photography lights. They also have the 1/4" threads as described for smaller items. Several months in, I hardly think about them anymore - exactly what I was hoping.

I bought three of these to mount some LED lights from the garage ceiling so I don't have to set up lights stands every time. These are great. I bought some sold bolts at the hardware store and I could probably hang a couple hundred pounds or more from these. Great product!

I moved all my set lights to the ceiling. I hit my head all the time but no more stubbed toes.

I have some studio lights that needed wall mounting, and these are perfect. They’re well built.

I needed this to mount my smaller lights to the ceiling of my log cabin studio, this is almost identical to a more established brand version yet much cheaper and does exactly the same job. It was easy to install and to use, I'd recommend it.

The product looks different from what posted on the ads, looks like it is not stable enough to hold the heavy strobe lights as advertised. trying to return the product but its locked for returned. RTeally frustrated with this one.
