Read on how to install these, very simple.
UPDATE: After being completely satisfied with my original purchase review, I decided to buy the rest of the colors. Unfortunately there were some defects and mismatched colors in my newer orders. I still very much love the analog grip caps, but did reduce my rating from 5 to 4 stars.I got similar analog grips for my PS4 controllers and loved them so much. When I saw that they have similar ones for the PS Vita I ordered immediately. I love how matte these are and the paw print lift helps with my gameplay on my new PS Vita 2001 Slim. I was worried at first as a previous reviewer stated this did not fit the analog stick of their handheld, but let me assure you these will indeed fit any PS Vita as the analogs on both versions are the same. These are great and I have played for hours with these on. They stay snug while giving me the comfort that I often need when it comes to analog sticks.INSTALLATION TIP: I read some mentioning how much of a pain these are to install and I agree. The best installation I found with these grips is to lay the grips center of the analog stick. Push down and make circular motions and the grips will slowly be pushed onto the edges which causes them to grip with the analog sticks. I had to apply these on 2 different PS Vitas and after some trial and error, I found placing them this way was the easiest. No need for tweezers which if you're not careful might cause some dings and dents on your device. Slow and steady with this method wins the race :)

Perfect fit!
Mine came from China since the pink ones weren't fulfilled by Amazon (or at least the cheapest ones weren't). I had a $5 amazon gift card so I essentially got these for $1 after shipping. They are a pain in the ass to put on but I don't think that warrants me to knock a star off. Mine didnt come damaged or with any manufacture errors so I'm happy there. Once you get them on they STAY ON. If yours are popping off you probably dont have the lip of the cap completely under the joystick. The lip goes completely under the joystick and that's why it's so hard to get the damn things on! Once you get them on though...they stay on for sure. At least they do on my slim vita. What I did to get them on (easier for smaller hands probably) was just to get part of the joystick under the cap with the lip under part of the joystick and then using your fingers to just pull the rest of the lip under the joysticks. I'm a female so my hands are slender and small so it was easier that way for me.Also for $1 you can't be too mad at it not being 100% easy installation. It WAS $1!

Feels like you're breaking joysticks to get this applied
The application is way too difficult. I feel like I'm about to break my joystick on the Vita to get this on. Pretty uncomfortable. Tried the "wiggle it on" technique, still never got them to fully fit. Not worth the hassle. If there was a way they could be turned inside-out maybe to "snap" on, it would be a little more usable. I'm delicate with my consoles and pressing these down was a bit rough.

Easier to use thumbsticks for extended gameplay.
The blue colored paws match my Aqua Blue PS Vita nicely! They are a bit lighter than the console, but its hardly noticeable. I got these a because they are so darn cute and I heard thumbstick caps are great on the PSP and Vita if you game a lot. Which I do. They definitely add a little extra grip and are easier on my hands for extended gaming (especially for more open world or FPS games). They are that soft silicone that you see a lot of gaming accessories made of. Being for tiny handheld thumbsticks, they are small and can be difficult to get on. You may need a pair of small hands to assist lol. That or be patient and gentle. Be aware! These do heighten the thumsticks slightly. So your Vita may not fit in tight pouches or slip cases... which might tweak your thumsticks to the side when fully closed.

Not for the PS Vita.
I bought a pair of these pink paw caps (from seller BelugaDesign) and was excited to put them on when they arrived.. only to find that they were way too big. But it was even labeled on the baggie that they were for the Vita, so maybe I wasn't putting them on right? Nope. I got out my Nintendo Switch, and what do you know, they were a perfect fit for the (drifting) joycons. Instead of returning them I decided to keep them for my Switch, and looked up another listing on Amazon for these caps. For me, these fit perfectly: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GTNHXW6/

It's fine, just be careful
As others have stated on here, it might be difficult to apply this to your Vita, but I was familiar with this sort of thing, you just have to hook the cap onto the stick and rotate your thumb around it until it's completely on. Otherwise, it fits snuggly for gameplay on the 1000 model. My only complaint, is that being for a portable device, you need to have resilient parts that enable for ease of travel.I put the Vita in my pocket for the first time and the stick must've just barely hooked against my pocket opening, which I didn't even feel any tug or resistance. Being one of the very few Vita 1000 stick covers on here, it's disappointing you can't breathe easy traveling any where with it.I recommend this if you don't typically throw your Vita in your pocket without a case, but I especially don't recommend it if you're rough with your device and like to pocket it everywhere you go.

So Cute!!
Love this so much! There were no defects on the paws and color looks great. Really makes my PS Vita look so cute. Was a little hard to put on but after readings some of the reviews on how to put it on, it was no problem to place on the sticks. This was a great buy. Would really recommend this if you want to style your PS Vita.

Cute, but difficult to put in place.
I love these little thumb grips! Super cute, feel like the ones I have on my switch. Some things though is that they can be very difficult to get on, you really can't turn them inside out to pop on since the sides aren't long enough, but once you do get them on they stay very firmly in place and I haven't had any other troubles with that. They also might not have a full range of motion of you use a thicker crystal or silicone case since they add size onto the thumbsticks. All in all though I love them.
