Effective filtering
This gets the job done. My son has asthma so we started with one hot cool link tower and got a second tower for the house. This is my second filter purchase through amazon. The filter is Dyson brand and matches the style you get when buying the tower. This filter fits the tower with the wider bottom base. This filter is shorter and wide. If you have the tower that is the same width at top and bottom, then you need a different filter, the one that is thinner and taller.

This filter fit perfectly in my heat and cool air Dyson. I think this filter even did a better job that the original filter that came with it. I live in California where we have had a lot of bad air quality due to fires. I have my Dyson fan on for days at a time and it does a great job of cleaning the air in a single room.

Great price, fits nicely and works well. I don't know if the filter is as good as an OEM, but for the price savings, I'm extremely happy with this filter

This filter is pricey, but with a Dyson what else would you expect. On the positive side, it was easy to install.

You get the premium experience with this one however you also pay the premium price. If you can splurge go for it; if not just get another one for half the cost! Then see the difference

Fits like the original filter unlike the cheaper knockoffs
I originally purchased a cheaper knockoff of this filter because there were so many of them and they were 1/3 of the price of the Dyson brand filter. The knockoff did not fit securely and would not allow the base to snap into place. I returned the knockoff and purchased the OEM version and it fits as it should--like a glove. It's definitely more expensive, but for a filter that you replace every year, I guess it's worth it. My old filter was disgustingly dirty, so definitely don't skip on the yearly maintenance and get the factory-approved version so that you know it works!
