Compatible for Camshaft Alignment Set Engine Timing Tools Kit for B.M.W N51/N52/N53/N54/N55

If you are replacing any timing components - camshaft, camshaft ledges, lifters, rockers, etc. you will need several special tools from this kit. You will need to be able to lock the camshafts in the TDC position; you will need to lock the motor with a locking pin through he flywheel, and for when you put things back together you will need the dummy tensioner and the VANOS plates alignment bar (those are the colored labeled aluminum bars in the kit)This kit has all of those things and they all worked perfectly out of the box. Nothing needed filing, sanding or rigging. You may have to move one of the arms on the cam lock tool because I guess on the other motors the cams are farther apart.Great tool, great price, a very happy BMW shade tree mechanic here.

the quality of the product is very good compare to the most expensive I could find in Amazon, this timing too work perfectly find to hold the cams in place, when torquing the 2 cam bolts and all so in assistance when torquing the central boltThe material of the tool are excellent, this tool work in N52 and can not wait to try it on other engines

Made the job a lot more easier and everything is quality made seeing was I torqued all bolts and nothing bent or broke.

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased kit due to the fact that it says its compatible with n55 & it has lots of play,wasted time waiting for it & now i cant complete this job
