Great Hardware, questionable documentation.
First, let me say that the documentation is misleading, and I'm sure more than one of the negative reviews about this product not working are because they followed the directions and it did not work. The most misleading portion regards the single wire pigtail that comes out from the large battery wire. The documentation will tell you that if you want to use relays 5 and 6, which are intended for "switched on" functionality, which means they dont have an actual switch, they just come on when the car is powered on... that you should then connect this pigtail to your fusebox. This is highly misleading because nothing will function unless you connect this wire. Also the documentation is amended by some full color photos that are intended to make installation clearer, but mine were so dark I could not actually see the kit in the engine bay photo...But, once you realize that every step is required, installation is a breeze and the kit works exactly as advertised. Solid, well designed, great kit.I would recommend they invest a little more in documentation by an english speaker, as well as provide some guidence regarding the fact that each relay is not the same, the first one supports 30amps, the second 20, etc.... so it matters which circuit you use for which accessory.

I had been considering an Spod for my JKU for quite some time and this one was so reasonably priced that I pulled the trigger. I had a couple of small issues during the install, but the customer service folks at SUITECH were incredibly responsive and wanting to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with my purchase. It really makes adding accessories like lights much easier. It was simple to install and had adequate instructions. You should know that the A-pillar mount will come with all four switch cut outs removed. Which is nice if you want to use all four. I had planned to use three with aftermarket switches that I purchased separately. So I had to plug in one of their provided switches as a filler until I decide to add another accessory to that switch. Overall, its well packaged, simple to install, worked on the first try and such a simpler solution to wiring accessories. JKU tip: tap into the orange/white dimmer wire leading to the driver's door to have your switch backlights on/off with the headlights and dimmable!

Overall not bad ... 2008 wrangler JK
Product is decent. Not terribly hard to install for a noob. Ran into a few snaggs:-Initial mounting area for box under hood my 08 had existing witing harness in the way, but was able to move it.-Missing fuse for ACC fuse box tap to switches. Easy to buy. Noted the other fuses in the control box cheap and fell apart when I tried to remove one. Also they had a 15amp fuse in where their diagram showed a 20. I just replaced them all.-Like everyone said the A post panel is not a perfect fit. Also wrong color for my 08, guessing 11-17 probably fits better.Overall works well, moderate install, cheaper than most alternatives.

Relay Control Box for Jeep Wrangler JK - Electronic 6 Relay System Module
Bought for a 2012 Jeep JK. I ended up returning this, but only because I had a bunch of existing wiring and parts, and it would have been a shame to cut this apart to make it fit with what I already had installed. I was very pleasantly surprised by the parts and overall quality.Assembling all of this yourself would cost more and be a substantial time investment (I ended up building/assembling one of the base relay boxes like this myself to match my exact needs). Doing it yourself takes a while. They used 14 gauge wire for power to fuses, and 16 gauge wire out to lights. They did a nice connector for the switches, and even give you a 6 position terminal block so you can customize. They ran separate dedicated power for each relay / fuse combination to the battery, so 6 wires run to battery.I did not like a couple of the crimps, and didn't like the non-waterproof connectors. I would love to see this same kit, but just all of the parts and precut wire that I could assemble myself. In a perfect world, I would love to see this box slightly larger, and hold a couple of extra fuses just for power (no relays), and maybe one incoming power line, heavy gauge wire, with a block as opposed to separate power wires (like the factory fuse / relay box). All in all, this is a great kit, and if I didn't already have some existing wiring and some special needs with my relays, this would have been perfect. If you are starting from nothing, BUY this. Outstanding start.
