I read this in one sitting. Definitely a favorite of mine. Very insightful and relatable. These words were what I needed at just the right time, and for that, I am thankful.

I stumbled across this book while looking for something else and boy am I pleased, until then I had not heard of Robert Drake and I bought this thinking that it was a story only to find once it arrived it is a book of poems; the thing is I would never have purchased a book of poems but every word that is written sings to your soul and each poem is another piece of the story of life, remarkable. I have been deeply touched by each and every poem and have read them out to friends and family.I am about to go travelling and this book along with my dog will accompany me. It is a beautiful reminder of who we really are.Going to buy another of his books right now.

It takes a lot to make me cry tears of joy, but this book succeeded on nearly every page. The entire thing was written like one solid flowing letter and it also told a story in such a remarkable way that I feel everything I reread I'll catch new pieces. Some of the poems here were super simple and not very artistic, but they got the point across and I appreciate the honesty of each one. I love how my mood increased simply by rea ding this and how effortlessly a sngle book was able to turn my day around.

There is no theory... Contains short lines on the authors deep reflection of life.. It's problems and personal stand taken/perception shift
