Great Price, Passible video/still quality, but could be better
I didn't see any other amazon reviews of this product & figure it's price is a big draw for someone who would like to get into this type of camera cheap & to just play around with one....So I thought I'd share a couple things I've noticed after having it a couple days. PICTURE/VIDEO QUALITY: There is no image stabilization that I can find on this cam so you have to try not to shake it too much or make real quick movements while recording. In '4K' mode it's pretty unusable in my opinion...the footage kind of 'glitches' every few seconds or so while recording/playing the '4K' footage. I don't think it's the micro SD card that I'm using because it's a class 10 & I've tried 2 different brands of card in it. I've even tried a name brand, class 10 U3 card but got the same glitching with it. Also the cards I've used work fine with 4K in my Akaso V50 Pro. Because of the bad 4K performance I set it to 1080P 60FPS & let my son take it on a bike ride around the community with the cam attached to a chest harness. I'm comparing this cam with what I already know(the Akaso cam) & the still pics & video aren't as clear & artifact-free as the Akaso produces. It's not night & day in difference, but you can tell. This camera's price is about 1/3 that of the Akaso, so I guess that needs to be taken into consideration when setting your expectations. One other thing I noticed about video on the Bototek is that the 1st half second or so of footage is kind of garbled, blocky, & 'blackish', then it clears up for the rest of the footage. Not sure if maybe I got a bad unit that does this or if it's just normal for this camera. The Bototek doesn't really shine so far indoors and/or in mid-to-low light settings. It seems to do a lot better outdoors & in good lighting conditions.. AUDIO QUALITY: Again, it's not quite as good as the Akso, but it seems to be good enough & seems to be better than some of the budget cams that I've seen others do review videos of. I haven't tried recording with the waterproof case on yet...usually this will cut the captured audio WAY down on any camera. I did notice, however, that the audio that comes out of the camera's speaker is VERY low. Again, I don't know if this is normal or If it's just the unit that I got. I would really rather have a nice, loud sound out of it so you can hear the recording confirmation beeps & shutter sounds. SCREEN/LED'S: The LCD screen on the camera is pretty decent & seems adequately bright for what I've done with it. It's got a weird viewing angle thing going on though...If you look at the screen a bit from the right side(even a very slight amount), the view isn't clear. The viewing angle from the other directions is pretty good. It's not a huge deal, but thought it was weird. One of the nice features of this camera that I wish the Akaso had is the front-facing monochrome LCD screen & status LED's. The camera itself is TINY, so you can imagine how small this little front LCD screen is & how small the icons & text are on it. Sometimes it's a bit tough to read, though it could come in handy to tell some status info if you're in front of the cam. The status LED's are very good & bright & also help with telling camera status.. WIFI/RF REMOTE: These features seem to work great! The remote really doesn't even need to be "paired" with the camera(unlike my Akaso that seemingly has to have the RF turned on again every time the cam powers up)...it just works. The WiFi app seems to work ok & there is very little lag between when something happens on the camera & when it is displayed on the phone. ACCESSORIES: For the price this camera comes with a good amount of accessories, including a 'hardish', fabric-covered, zippered case with a foam insert in it & an elastic/mesh pouch built into the lid. That's a nice touch that even the Akaso didn't come with. The waterproof case is there, but you can tell it's a little lower quality than the one the Akaso comes with. Including a selfie stick, chest harness, or head harness would have been a good plus, but overall, I think these accessories would get you started at least. BATTERIES/CHARGER: The Bototek came with 2 batteries and 1 single-battery charger(with USB cable) with micro USB power connection. Having 2 batteries is going to be helpful, but I wish the charger would be able to charge both batteries at once. One battery arrived completely uncharged & one came with about a half-charge in it. It looks like the RF remote came with an extra battery as well, so that is a plus. All in all, for the price, it seems that you get quite a bit with this camera kit & I think it's probably well worth the money if you keep your expectations a little on the low side as far as video & still image quality goes. I wouldn't count on 4K use with it(unless I just got a bad one) & I would think of the 1080P that this camera captures as being on-par with what I would characterize 720P as being(it's kind of like the quality I see coming out of my 720P IP cameras in the house). If I still have the camera when we go on our upcoming vacation I think I might let my 11-year-old son use the Bototek to capture what he wants to of the trip without me having to worry too much about him breaking a higher-dollar camera.

Good 720 for the price
I purchased this camera to put on a drone. I read the other two reviews and decided that the price was too good to pass up. I didn't need it to be 4K and I assumed the 1080 would be okay. I did some testing with this and found what this camera is the best at. I conducted a simple test by walking throughout my house videoing as I went several times with the various settings recording the path. I found that the 4K and 2.7K look like hot garbage (looks like it is up-scaled too much, it drops frames, has artifacts.....). 1080 and 720 look great. My favorite is 720 at 120 frames per second. The 720 at 120 fps is so nice I will be using that with my drone. The extra stuff I will probably never use with the exception of the remote control, the external charger, and extra battery. It is super light weight. I will see how many crashes it will take before it stops working and report back. The menu system is a little bit of a pain to get used to, but you only have to do it to change the settings, you can record and turn on the wifi controls with 2 buttons.Your fortune: If you think you will get a real 4K camera for 30 bucks and it will take great pictures and video in 4K, you are going be disappointed a lot throughout your life. If you want want expensive toys, pay for expensive toys. The 3 starts is for being cheap and light.TLDR: The 720 120fps makes this camera worth the $30. If you are on the fence read Randomized User #113's and Phearly's posts.

Junk
You get what you pay for! Other than the case this thing was really bad and even it had its problems. The batteries didn't hold a charge. The menu screen was low res and the menu navigation was challenging. Even in bright light there was a ton of grain and artifacts in the videos. I highly doubt it was truly 4k simply by the file sizes. While there was a lot of them, the accessories didn't really make sense. This would be an okay action cam to give to the kids to fool around with, but otherwise do not bother.

This is not a 4k camera - Poor image quality
Camera image quality is very poor as is the sound quality. What a shame because i really liked the style and feature set. With my other 4k camera i have to guess at the battery level while filming myself but with this camera having the 2nd lcd screen on the front it makes it very ice. Too bad the image quality seems to be less than 720 p. Very poor image quality and sound as i mentioned earlier. Also the default setting on this camera is audio off. You have to remember to turn the sound on each and everytime you turn on the camera or you will wind up shooting your project only to find out you did not record any sound.

Check out other budget cameras before pulling the trigger
Had for a while now. Picture and video good quality but audio is intermittent. Units with external mic options from other manufacturers for same or lower price available now. Would not buy again.

Not bad for the price
Has a decent film quality but the sound quality is terrible. Make a good camera if you just want film with no sounds.

Didn't work at all!
It doesn't turn on and it's super light. I don't think there's anything inside the camera, just a shell of an action camera. I charged it for the recommended time in the manual and no sign of life whatsoever. Bummer!
