USB-C Outlet never worked
Both AC outlets and the standard USB outlet worked fine, so I'm confident the outlet was installed correctly. Unfortunately, I purchased this primarily for the USB-C outlet, and it doesn't charge anything.

Slow charging
Functions but doesn't charge at full speed, or even moderate speed.

Throw away the included cable unless your phone has a death wish
This outlet works great. Except for two problems. First, the included USB-C cable was not only broken, but it was wired incorrectly. When I plugged my phone in, it immediately shut down, and from that day it never charged properly again (even on the official charger), often requiring the battery to be disconnected and reconnected. That was at the end of 2018. Recently I tried to connect my new phone to the USB-C outlet, and it wouldn't charge. The outlet is no longer outputting power over USB-C. The USB type A port works fine though.

Perfect.
Easy to wire and works as advertised. Great option for my lamp project to add extra charging options.

Questionable USB-C power
Power output is lacking. I woke to a dead phone. Looking at charge history, it never even looks like my phone was plugged in, even though it said 'charging'.It did do well at charging the iPad, but due to the 4.2A shared limit the Leviton will be a better option, with more power.I was hopeful.USB-c device : pixel 2iOS : iPad 4 w/ 3G & iPhone 8

Nice looking plug but won't charge all devices
I tried charging several devices. While it charged my iPhone Max fine(depending on the cable I used) it would not charge some lower end items like a bluetooth headset, LG Aristo cell phone or even a battery backup 10k mah pack.

Easy to install, works great, looks nice as well.

Low power to USB C port
This comes with a nice face plate and is fairly easy to install but that is where the good ends... I plugged in my Google Pixel phone and saw it was only "Charging" not "Charging Rapidly" and noticed it was charging really slowly at that. So I plugged in my Satechi USB-C power meter to see how much power it was providing.As soon as I connected the cord to the power meter I was surprised because the meter turned on right away, normally it doesn't turn on until a device is connected. I then plugged my phone in and saw it was only providing 0.08A way under the 2+A I see from other chargers.I highly recommend the Top Greener outlet. It charges at ~2.8A for me
