I bought these after the coldest week we've ever had here in the Midwest. I gave them to my in-laws to use on their farm. They loved them and were so surprised these even exist.

Working on a ski race course with too much snow, all gloves get wet. I put these hand warmers in my wet gloves inside my pack, and used dry ones for the race. It was great to put on warm, but still wet leather gloves for course work once the race was concluded.This is a handy gadget that can bridge the gap between warm and cold, a luxury out in the field! No rating on the waterproofing, but so far, so good!

They definitely warm up quickly. The lowest setting is extremely warm, hot even for bare hands. I would suggest wearing gloves when using these.
