Good Quality
The motor sounds louder than a similar projector of smaller size. But overall good quality for the price shown. Easy to use, practical, good image, but must remain connected to use, its not like battery based /rechargeable.

Good projector for the money
It is in fact 1080p and stuff and for the price a good projector overall. Don't expect many features though and if left on the menu screen with be burned into it so whenever it is dark in spots you'll see it and it has dropped a few pixels in the past couple months. Don't get me wrong though. It is cheap, and it is a 1080p projector. Don't expect a $1,000 projector quality from it, but it does a good job for a decent setup. The colors are very good and it has some of the usual features. Just really wish it had a timer on it.

Poor Picture Quality
Thought this was a great value - set it up and the picture was terrible even in completely dark room still terrible quality. and of course I missed the fact its not returnable so im stuck with a box that I will never use after trying all the recommended trouble shooting it still looks the same. Very disappointed.

Needs a dark room
The media could not be loaded. This is a great projector as long as you have a dark room to use it in. If the room is dark the colors are vivid, but with the lights on everything is washed out (see photos). Its best if you have a matte finish or a screen to project on. I have a semi-glossy paint that is fine for dark images, but bright images create a glare off the reflective surface. See the video in this review for examples of dark and light images. See the photos for examples of a dark and well lit room.I projected from approximately 10ft away and had a 79" image. The specs allow for placement 3.9'-11.5' with an image size of 40"-120". The focal range is very good with enough sensitivity for a fine adjustment. There is also a keystone adjustment of +/-12 degrees to adjust for viewing angle. There is one foot in the middle of the projector to project from an angle. The projector needs to be on a flat surface as the single foot doesn't allow for side to side adjustments. The best way I've found to use this projector is on a tripod. That allows for adjusting viewing angle as well as creating a level base. There is a tripod mount located on the bottom center of the unit. A tripod also allows me to move the setup out of the way or into another room. I recommend using this projector with a Google Chromecast or similar device so the only connection needed is power cables. That allows me to broadcast any streaming service or desktop from my phone or laptop wirelessly and easily move the projector when needed. The speakers are pretty loud especially for a bedroom. They can get distorted with heavy bass or at high volumes. The sound quality is ok, but a better option is to use the 3.5mm audio output to an external speaker.Setup is pretty easy as there aren't many options to play with. Just set it where you want it and then adjust the focus and keystone for a focused image. There are some color options, rotation and a zoom option. If your image is focused but too large for your wall or screen, the zoom allows the image to be reduced down to 75% in 1 percent increments. There is also a remote provided. This is an inexpensive way to get a good, very large movie/tv experience IF you have a dark room. That makes it ideal for bedrooms or a screening room. If you want to use it in a living room area, I suggest getting some black out curtains.

Distance/clearness of projection can be an issue
I bought this for work meetings, and I needed to project it from the back of the room behind my staff. I had to put it in the middle of room and it was awkward trying to have it connected to my computer to show my PowerPoint. The projector needed to be closer to be clear to view.I ended up using it at home for family use.

Nails the sweet spot for ease of use, price and picture quality
I needed a projector that was easy to use, readily played common video files, projected images with a reasonable brightness, had a clear picture and was easy to stow. I already have two higher end projectors installed in my home for watching movies on the big screen and what I needed was an inexpensive, light weight, easily transported projector for use mainly during Halloween and the holidays. A projector that I could easily place in any room and project images onto windows and walls. Enter the Flik x10. It hits the sweet spot for my needs. To get an idea of if the amazing holiday scenes you can create with a projector, search AtmosFX here on Amazon and look at customer reviews of their products (there Phantasms images are especially amazing). But projectors can be quite expensive, even from AtmosFX, and that takes a lot of fun out of using one to decorate. But the Flik x10 is very reasonably priced and it does an excellent job of reading .mp4 and .avi files from a USB stick and projecting the video. It is lightweight and super easy to use. It took just a few minutes to familiarize myself with the simple navigation menu, make some minor adjustments and get a test movie playing. It is easy to focus and has some keystone adjustment ability if needed. It boots and shuts down fast and does not get hot like bulb projectors. The picture is surprisingly good. With the Flik x10 I now have a projector that will take my Halloween decorating to the next level. And I have a grab and go projector with a speaker for those backyard parties too. This kit even comes with a nice cloth carrying case that holds the projector and all of the accessories, including a 100-inch projection screen, mounting hooks, small tripod, remote control and power block. And at this price point, the x10 is a great value.P.S. the photos show the Flik x10 next to an Epson WXGA 3000 lumens projector (at 8x the price) to give an idea of the size difference of the two portable units. The Flix x10 is also much lighter.
