Received my Movo mic the very next day from Amazon --- and arrived in perfect condition ! I plugged it into my Android phone and tested it right away ! Works great --- sound is loud and clear ! For only about $16 --- you can't beat this ! DEFINITELY WORTH THE $16 !!!

I like recording videos all the time but let’s be honest recording a good quality audio with your phone or camera it is not a great idea so in order to get better quality audio you need to get a microphone but it could be quite expensive to buy of those, browsing around I found this little guy which caught my eye and decided it to give it a try. Very clear and crispy sound quality so surprising especially if you compare the price with the great audio you can achieve with this microphone. I like the little bag so you can put it in your pocket and be good to go also compatible with smartphones and cameras. Note: if you have an iPhone keep in mind that you will need a lightning adapter which is around $10 from Apple otherwise it worth every penny.

If you do YouTube videos, Facebook live, or record outside at all on to your camera or iPhone android phone or any other devices to record on you need an external mic. There's a ton of mics to choose from. I found Momo to be a great partner and microphones and other components at a reasonable price. This would been a five star review if the original cord that is on the microphone would've been longer. You think anybody knows that if you're doing videos if you're using a tripod, or even propping your phone up on your pop can you need a longer cord than they provide. It only makes sense. Other than that I'm very happy. Because Amazon won't let you put a link to a different product than the product you're reviewing I recommend that you look on my profile page and you'll see a review to a great extension cord for this microphone. At a later date all at several videos done with this microphone it is fairly amazing the great sound the low voice capture the ability to stop the wind noise and give the presence of a much more expensive microphone.

I originally won a Movo at a sound class and figured it would probably be okay, but instead I found the sound quite clear...a huge step up from the IPhone mic. I was wrong ( and a little snobby about a $20 lavalier ). As an actor, my main job is to audition and now almost all auditions are either Self Tape or Zoom meetings. When I started using the Movo, my agent remarked about the sound difference ( positively !!! ) and I’m getting more interest and call backs since the change. I just bought a second for a backup along with a 10 foot audio extension cable...Hiding the mic is not a problem anymore. Thanks Movo for a great, inexpensive lavalier mic.

I could not get it to work. Other info I found said mics like this had to have an adapter for iPhone 6, so I thought that was the problem. Then I found that no matter HOW I tried to record, I could get no audio, playing back the iPhone 6 videos I shot. Chatted with Apple. They took me though all kinds of rigamarole, thinking the phone was defective. Ended up deleted and restoring all the content on the phone. GIANT hassle! Then, I found something they had failed to mention: my volume was turned all the way down during playback (not during shooting, which I had checked). The iPhone has no sound meter, so I could not tell. Turned it up: still did not play back. But I had left the mic in during playback. The phone thought during playback that it was a headphone, so it muted the speaker! Aaarrrgh! Once I A. had the volume turned up during playback and B. took out the mic, the playback sounded fine. So, I think the mic is fine. Audio recording, what little I have listened to at this point, sounds pretty good.

Works better than I thought it would. Captures my voice accurately enough for Youtube and allows me a lot more freedom for camera placement when in a situation that is suboptimal for my AT2020 mic. Gotta love finding another use for that cell phone that's always in my pocket anyway. Something I want to point out, that may be why some people have given some bad reviews about voice quality is that this thing is SENSITIVE. At first I though this was a piece of junk after my first couple of recordings. I didn't touch it for a few days and decided to give it another go. Your voice will likely be peaked throughout a recording and sound like a crackling distorted mess without the right settings. You may need to try a couple recording apps before you find "the one" that has the features you need. On one of the apps I tried there was an option for microphone tuning. When I set that to "voice communication" it resolved the issue. On other apps I tried I had to adjust the microphone gain by disabling automatic gain control (or something like that) and manually adjusting.

UPDATE: I purchased this mic in March 2015 and in October 2016 it stopped working... after the 1 year warranty. I'd recommend looking for a sturdier product with a better warranty if you want to rely on it as I was doing. ORIGINAL: Very handy for using with my voice recorder app on Android. Allows me to get high quality audio for speaking, which I often use to sync with a video camera in an editing program. Four stars instead of five since case assembly covering mic came off a little easily. But it has worked great after putting it back on, and I seek to protect the mic. Overall, very happy with the product and price.

This is one of the low key gems I found on Amazon. The movo mic gives you amazingly clear sound and it hooks up to your phone. For my work scenario, it works absolutely perfectly. I record video using my camera, and use this hooked to my phone to capture audio, and later sync the audio in my computer. The sound output from this mic is very high quality and makes a huge difference in videos, specially if you are coming from the built in mics on your phone/camera. The lavalier also comes with a very good quality carrying case. Very handy. And the built quality on the mic itself is astounding. It feels very premium, with the sturdy clip and everything. Great buy and I would recommend this to anyone who needs to upgrade from using internal mics.

Great quality sound and price, I found it better quality than the Rode Smart Lav I have so now have 5 Movo PM10's. Ideal coupled with the iPhone and Rode App but also very good with small Sony pocket recorders which I use with an TRRS adapter. Going to be picking a couple more up as spare / backup

For the price I didn’t expect such good quality. It really improves the sound in home recording. For home users like me who make an occasional video with voiceover this is a great microphone. Much better than microphone on a regular phone headset.

El mejor micrófono de solapa que he tenido. Antes usaba uno chino, con una calidad excelente, y probé con todo tipo de marcas, todas esas famosas que usan los streamers y tiktokers... nada que ver.
