Full disclosure: I'm addicted to these blocks & this one is great!
After having tripped across a set of these blocks, I am now fully addicted. I remember 20 yrs ago crawling around on the floor to work with my kiddos & their favorite blocks. THESE are MINE! All mine! My neurologist suggested finding ways to work with my arms/hands more after spinal surgery & as a way to keep my fine motor skills. I have always loved puzzles, but after doing so many 2D puzzles, I needed a change. BINGO! I love these! They challenge me with having to use my fingers on small (ok, VERY small pieces), but reward me with really cool places that my inner child loves learning about. I have never gotten to visit Asia (on my bucket list); but at least get to learn about the culture vicariously through the building pieces. I will admitt, it is daunting when you first open the box & see nearly 800 pieces about the size of a small fingernail. You realize, these aren't going to be big. But then you realize you can store more of them in the cabinet for later re-use. I'm anxious for my grandson to come so I can put this together again with him - or just watch him struggle with the instruction...map. (no booklets here) These are not the blocks I was familiar with, but they make an absolutely great time & I am able to put these together on a 2" sided tray in my lap while watching TV (or not) with my family. Anyone familiar with the well-known blocks will love the affordability & familiarity of these. I'd show my progress in a picture, but am still a work in progress as I get my fingers back. Some times, I am slower than I'd like. But if you haven't tried these, invest in at least one set & go from there. They are truly addictice & can take you places you haven't been to yet! Alipaxde doesn't have a formal Amazon storefront, but they do have a couple more mini bricks sets including a really cool haunted house. Just be careful when you request these as the pieces are not meant for small kiddos. Even older kids might be frustrated by the small size, but on the other hand, they migh also enjoy the challenge-

Daughter LOVES this kit
This is a really good kit for kids, although the piece count can be daunting. I would say that it's definitely a better kit for children that are younger than 10, as the pieces are TINY. That's not a bad thing, as per my daughter, "It's like they made the pieces for MY size of hands!", but be aware that if the kit is for a kid that's getting into their pre-teen/teen years, or for an adult, there will be much frustration as they're not geared for someone with larger hands. I color coded and organized the pieces so that they were easier to find for her, and I had multiple pieces I'd try to pick up and they'd shoot across the room as I couldn't get a good enough grip to keep hold of them. She's not done building it (only about half way in), but she makes a little bit of progress most nights, so it will be finished in about a week :D The best part is she LOVES sushi and sashami, and some of the pieces for the restaurant are little representations of sushi, so she is *still* super excited that they made a building kit about her favorite restaurant food!

Cute!
So I picked this out for myself to put together. I'm an older lady and used to love putting sets together for my kids when they were young. They're now grown and out on their own with families. I thought it's be fun to put this together as I liked the design. It reminds me a cute sushi bar I'd like to visit. The set itself was good. I have arthritis so I did struggle with putting some of the pieces together. I found I needed a few small hand tools included a pair of needle nose pliers. I'm not sure if that's because of the quality or my own medical condition so I'm chalking it up to the later. There were some issues with the set though. I found that some of the pieces didn't quite fit next to others. I encountered a problem when it came to fitting a round piece next to another round decorative piece. Bothe pieces didn't seem to be deigned to fit securely next to each other. I'm not sure what to contribute this to but that's why I knocked a star off.The other issue I had was that the instructions would have you build a section and then attempt to add that to an already built section. This led to pieces falling off the section I was trying to add. Personally I think it may have been better if the instructions guided you to build the addition piece by piece onto the section you've already put together. I'm sure this sounds confusing until you're actually building the whole thing but it does make sense.All-in-all I do like the look of this and how cute it is. I just think I'll be rebuilding it from the beginning again and maybe even gluing some of the pieces together as I go to help ensure stability throughout.

One of my favorite sets!! Smaller pieces, lots of tiny details
The media could not be loaded. The LOZ building brick sets are my absolute favorite. They are made with smaller bricks than regular Legos, which makes it much more challenging and, in my opinion, much more fun. It also allows for more details to be included in the sets, and cute, tiny, intricate details are my jam. These sets are unique in particular because they feature a building that can be opened up with plenty more detail inside the building. This set is adorable and like all LOZ brand sets, of good quality. The pieces are colorful, solid, and they fit together tightly and securely with minimal looseness. The quality is nearly that of brand name Lego’s. There are a lot of unique pieces included in this set and it it a lot of fun to put together. It comes with a small sheet of stickers that go on certain pieces to add to the detail — the stickers have good adhesion and can easily be removed and repositioned without tearing or leaving behind any residue. The set has an instruction pamphlet that is clear and easy to follow, which helps to make it easy to build. It took me a couple of hours to assemble, and I loved every second. This set comes at a great price when compared to much more expensive sets with the same number of pieces, making this an excellent value for the money. It would make a fun gift to building set collectors, especially those who enjoy the more challenging ones. Again, these are my favorite sets ever, and I will recommend it time and time again!!🥰🥰
