C-4 Floor Jack, 1 Pack (2)

This product worked, and I chose it over some other similar models because I liked that I could use a wrench to adjust it (not just a little bar). However, I did have it collapse on me once when it no longer had a load on it (since none of the jack is actually welded or bolted together, it just fell apart). Thankfully I had someone holding the wood post I was using or it could have landed on me. I was only using this as a temporary jack, so I could put a beam in place, but I have to say I don't think I would be comfortable with it as a permanent solution (I don't think it's meant to be).

It did the job.I used it in a crawl space under my house.

A very cheap product but it got the job done. I replaced the garage header. If you do use them, it is best to start them as low as possible, all the strength is when they are low. I had them almost fully extended and it made me a little nervous. Make sure to attach the base and plate. Over all, for the money it was worth it but if you are going to use them over and over again, get something better. They can be used a lot I am sure but I wouldn't use for business.

My AV Receiver weighs like 45 pounds and the shelf is starting to bend. That's the only place I could put the receiver because of where the cables come out there. It's black and pretty low profile so it's not much of an eye sore. you will need a crescent wrench to make adjustments once you get it all in place and hand tight.

EASY TO USE

Had to do some super gluing to keep it together, but worked great for what I purchased it for

I replaced some wedged-in 4x4s with these under my bungalow to correct a sagging beam. I first embedded a solid concrete block in the ground as a footing at each location, and put these in place making sure each one was at a point where the beam intersected with a joist. Worked like a charm. Floors are now relatively level and much more solid.

This jack is extremely awkward to use. It has four moving parts which have to held together while it is being installed. I was working in a tight space with barely enough room for both hands. Once installed it is very sturdy.

Great price and just what I needed. Raising the floor.

It will work however maxxed out they are 16" tall which leaves no adj for higher and it would be tippsy. I will make it for a foot and build up pad also it comes in 4 pieces and is flimsy if you use it like this i will weld mine to make 1 piece
