MC Enterprises Engine Guard FS 1-1/4 Chrome for Honda Shadow 750 Spirit 01-10

Fits very well on my 05" Honda Shadow. But, you need to adjust the front of the break pedal rod, installing this item will cause your foot pedal break to stick. All I used was a small pry bar and a hammer (flat tipped screw driver could be used in place of pry bar). At the joint, where the rod and the pedal assy. meets, the thickness of the Guard where it bolts on to your bike causes the joint there to bend a slightly enough to make it stick. this is only a 20 second fix, hammer in prybar and bend back a small bit at a time until foot brake pedal no longer sticks. Also, you must remove your radiator to install properly. Loosely bolt on the top first, and then install bottom at the steps tighten, this will ensure that there is enough room to bolt on the top, last tighten the top. This is something the instructions it does not come with fails to mention.

Great product, but requires some minor modifications of the rear brake pedal to get it to fit on my 2002 Honda Shadow VT750 DC. See my images for DIY instructions.Overall a 4 out of 5 stars because the U-Bolt was a pain in my rear to get on. It would have been much better for MC Enterprise to design the mount point to utilize the radiator bolt.

Fairly easy to install. Looks good only problem with the installation I had to find a stronger foot brake lever spring.
