Dead after 2 years - good before that
As far as DIY security systems go, this was a decent one for the technology level (not internet or cloud connected) that it was designed to when I got it circa 2015. When first installed it performed well, and I felt I had good connectivity to it (this alarm is installed at a second residence which I am only at 3 days/mo). After a couple of years the sensors died - which was an easy fix with new batteries. However about the same time the siren (the plug in strobe/siren that comes with the kit) would not audibly "alarm" during an alarm event (although it would chirp during system changes like normal). Further the cellular abilities died. The sim card (AT&T) was still functional and the base unit showed a good cellular connection, but there was no way to reach it (via text message or call) and it could not reach out.Not being able to contact it was a deal breaker, so the system had to go. I suppose I am glad I had two years of use out of it, and it was better in design and function than the last generation I had - however I can't recommend this system because of the untimely death. Also the company never released any of the promised extra sensors (smoke, water, etc). In 2015 they were 4-6 months away... Now I'm not sure Pisector is even in business.I have since moved to a Ring system which so far is pretty good (with a few minor bugs), and half the price! Not recommended.

then install is very easy, especially since the shipped sensors are already added
Spent some time on installing as I re-utilized in-wall 12V wiring from older alarm system to the Remote Panel. If you are just hooking the panel and remote keypad up where you have a AC outlet, then install is very easy, especially since the shipped sensors are already added. What I really like about the system: -Motion Sensors are very sensitive (3 levels via dipswitch inside each), but have not had animals set them off (3 overfed cats) -Very easy to add sensors -4G/GSM cellular. -50 Sensors/zones, with customizable name, and recorded audible name for each. -Base to sensor range seems to be very good. No issues reaching any door/window or sensors on 1st or 2nd floors. -Ademco compatible. Talking with alarmrelay about getting service with them. -Pisector android app works fine, both for checking armed status, and arming/disarming. You burn through some cell minutes through. What I wish was different (not dinging rating though) -Window/door sensors are a bit big, although better than those with dumb antennas I've seen some systems have. -Mounting for the Wireless keypad. Once it is installed, real hard to get off without tearing it up. (this is good and bad) -AC adapters for base unit and wireless keypad: Have a model that has terminal posts on them for utilizing existing in-wall wiring, instead of having to loop off the plug end, and wirenut the two together.Enhancements I wish it had: --Some sort of IP based module with eth or wifi, and interface to make renaming zones easy. --Integration with some kind of webcam/IP camTips for others looking to put together similar system:--As others have said,, get some 3m 15 or 30lb double sided adhesive tape, and the sensors aren't going anywhere.--T-mobile Prepaid GSM SIM card. Get the voice/SMS plan WITHOUT the data. This will help compatibility with alarm relay for monitoring.--If you need a lot of sensors like me (20+), get the GS08 kit, and the PS03 kit (10 door sensors, 3 motion sensor, alarm siren) The PS03 uses same sensors, and you get way more sensors for your $$ than buying individual sensors, even if you do have a PS03 console you'll never use.Overall I looked at fortress, and all the other major DIY systems, and for the number of sensors I needed, and Ademco compatible, this one was the only player.I had originally given 5 stars primarily because of motion sensor performance (best I've ever seen), overall ease of programming, and both self monitoring or alarm company monitoring.Dropped to 4 stars because remote keyfobs have terrible design. The panic button will go off simply putting in your pocket. Had the police show up unexpectedly.

Customer Support Lacking
So far its just meh. It sort of does what it says but one reason I bought it was for the two extra wired sensors ability. Seems like a simple open/closed door sensor switch shouldn't be that hard to integrate. I can't seem to get it to work with the controller and tried contacting their support for clarification of their vague documentation. I got one reply back, and it was not clear at all what they were saying. I replied to it asking for clarification and explaining my setup in detail but I got nothing back. This is my second purchase of the system for a second facility and I do like some of the functions. Its been reliable as long as you watch the batteries and replace them regularly. But if you purchase something for a specific feature and that feature doesn't work........
