Just came in the mail, inserted the batteries. and my light doesn’t work.

Not good
No red rings no problem, but the fact it SLIDES apart in the middle in a way that if you where to use it in a self-defense manner the pokey end is liable to stick into the Target and stay there. Leaving you holding the handle wit a hole where your point was and a flashlight and 2 tiny glass breakers on the other end. I would not trust my life to it.

Who is this designed for?
I'm not entirely sure who this product was designed for... The glass breaker makes this thing sharp as hell to carry. I carry a tactical pen and knife on me every day and I can't use this because when I reach down, I stab my hand on the glass breaker. See my pictures. One picture is my daily carries and the other picture is the view of this pen from my pocket. Just doesn't make a lot of sense. This seems intended to be a multi use tool for a car, meant only for sporradic use in a car, not for an every day utility oriented person.EDIT 7/15/18: I Dropped my review from 3 stars to 2 because the twist pen broke. I wasn't even doing anything out of the ordinary, was just twisting it to open it. I don't even carry it anymore because the whole point is to have a writing utensil. I would have given it 1 star but the flashlight is awesome and powerful with a good on off button.

Excellent pen for work. Very easy to break glass.Hefty. And stought for what ever you need to do with the led light is very bright.It shipped fast. And easy. Very good company to order from

All-In-One Pen
This is my first time I bought a "Tactical Pen" and I do not regret getting it! First of all, I was impressed by the package that I might be buying this again for my co-workers Christmas gift. I began to use this pen in my work, everyday. No one knows that it is a tactical pen, you are the only one who knows, which is another plus factor. In addition, I really like the flashlight function. Few days ago I dropped my car key in the dark but I was managed to find it using the flashlight. This is a must have item!

Glad I got it
I haven't had to use this as a self defense or glass breaking tool, but I use the flashlight and pen frequently. The only problem I've experienced is that the flashlight button occasionally gets pushed on while in my pocket and the batteries run down. Glad I got it!
