Love, love, love! Order these for your hardworking man!!!
My husband LOVES these work boots. He hardly ever takes them off. They are waterproof about halfway up, they fit him great, and he says they're breathable when its warm outside, but really warm when it is cold outside. Carhartt is always our go-to brand for work clothes, so we decided to give their work boots a try & I dont think we will ever go back now!Updating one year later: husband still wears these boots DAILY to work. They’re obviously wearing a bit, but he says they are still more comfortable than any steel-toed boots he’s ever tried before. 10/10!!!! They’ve gotten wet, stuff dropped on them, just put through the ringer. And they have no tears, just a little dirt and scuff. We are obsessed with carhartt. Order these right now for your hard working man!!!

Comfort
Ironworker approved amazing boots! So comfortable as if I am wearing slippers! Had these for a little over a week and they broke in after the first day. I’m thinking of buying a second pair while they are still on sale. 11.5 shoe fits as expected.

Boots are great. Laces not much.
Boots are comfortable, for well and they make my boyfriend happy, but the laces frayed. They are not even a month old. See the picture. I expected more from Carhartt. The boots are more durable than the laces luckily. I'll update if that changes.

Perfect! Got my husband a back up pair.
This is our second time buying these. We bought our first one about 2 years ago and it’s still in great shape. We got him a new pair because his old one is starting to wear a bit on the left top part of where the composite toe and fabric meets. But even with the slight hole/tear, it’s still waterproof, extremely comfortable and durable. He has a very laborious job and is on his feet for 12-14 hours and he never complains anymore about foot aches.

Great
These boots are very comfortable. You don’t feel rocks I work in the real car business. You don’t feel the rocks on the tracks for welding. They’re really good very comfortable and keep your feet very warm and the cold weather.

FAILED after two months!
I had a pair of carhartt 6” for over a year prior to buying this style. I was pleased with how the previous pair had fit and lasted. The inside was wearing out and that was the only reason I went searching for a new pair.I bought these in late February. Today, at work, I happened to glance down at my boot and noticed that the rubber heel had torn away from the leather. I looked at my other and the same had happened there too. (See picture). I’ve only had these for TWO months. Who knows when they failed, because it’s not very noticeable when you are not bending your ankle.I guess it’s hit or miss in the boot world. I would not buy these again! If you need shoes for a physical job, don’t get these.I’ve been a carpenter for 19 years. Heels ripping apart was a new one to me.Durability - 0

Great boot, besides some minor gripes
I've owned 2 sets of these boots, and now I'm looking to buy a 3rd. I get between 1.5-2 years out of each pair but they constantly have the same breaking point. In both cases the failure point has been the sole connected to the side boot material, the stitching tears open and begins to separate. The first pair happened within 6 months, but were wearable for indoor application for another ~8 months. The second pair failed after about the same time period. I mainly wear these for safety and less for the water proofing but a hole in the side is still unfortunate and poor build quality. If you can deal with side tears they are great boots, they're the style and colors that I like and it's a decent lifespanWhat I'm not excited about is the first and second pair were ~ $130, now these boots are suddenly $190.... I'm less sure about buying them again for that amount. Second pair purchases feb 2022. They lasted until December 2024. (With holes after a few months.....)
