Cars Origins: Storm Chasing (Disney/Pixar Cars) (A Stepping Stone Book(TM))

This book changed my life also made me fall in love with jackson storms mentor/pit chief Ray. This was written like a fanfic and i mean that as a compliment bc id kudo bomb this thing. Obviously written for younger audience but thats fine for this poopoo brained 30yo. I wish there was more, loved the dialogue and look into these characters. Makes me wish the film itself covered all this good lore. Big recommendation if you're a jackson storm fan.

It is regrettably short, but a good read of why Storm is the way he is and how did he get his chance to race in the big leagues. The story is told from Ray Reverham's point of view, Storm's Pit Crew Chief, who was on the hunt for his employer's dream racer. I mostly bought this because I'm a fanfic writer in my spare time and I wanted to understand my main character better. Gald I did, it changes my perspective on Storm (for the better) and reinforces some of those fan-made theories about him.The only thing it lacks is what was Storm's reaction to Cruz's shocking win at the Florida 500. Did it lead him towards character growth or did he go the other way? Hmm, that's certainly up for discussion.

This is a great Chapter book for kids. My son is 7 (soon beginning the 2nd Grade) and loves it. It recounts the beginnings of Jackson Storm... where did he come from, why is he the way he is, how he became the latest racing sensation. My son loves the Cars movies and this is a great way to encourage his reading and imagination. I liked it as an adult. Very creative.

Great story for young kids and I enjoyed it as well, cant wait for next book to come out ?

Well written and great story. Read together with my 6 and 8 year old, they both really enjoyed it!

This book is amazing, as a Jackson Storm fan, its very creative. Everyone who are Cars fans should read this!!!
