I wash my face and mix this in with my moisturizer as directed and it works fine. My issue is with the smell as the tan develops. It isn't strong, but it is sort of...earthy...and...ashy..? Like, an ashtray was dumped into some dirt and then mixed up and then a bowl of it is in the room with you? It's not strong, but it is noticeable...and odd. I am aware that self tanner often smells weird while it develops, but I've almost always noticed it to have sort of a metallic scent, but not this one. It makes me hesitant to apply it to my face.

I like to use self tanner on my face and legs. Usually I mix self tanning oil with lotion to give a more natural color and even application. This oil smells good and works wonderful on my face mixed with some lotion. It didn’t give much color for my legs. I would prefer a darker option but the color for my face looks natural and I can get away with some concealer and just sunscreen and no makeup. The price is great and I will continue to use for my face a few times a week

I read the reviews before buying this product and someone recommended adding drops of tanning oil to a moisturizer then apply. I definitely recommend this way to use the product as it goes on more evenly. It's a light but noticeable tan. Smells good.

OMG this is my new thing. Every single bottle of lotion in my entire house now has lots of drops of sunshine in them (and im not telling anyone until they notice). They will notice too, pretty quickly at that. i love this bottle of sunshine! ill be stocking up and there will be NO MORE colorless winters in KY for this girl.Try it! I’ve used other tanning drops, and the color is not so attractive. This color, however, is stunningly beautiful it makes my face look really pretty. It’s a honey like glow. It also smells like vanilla, I love the smell.This one is definitely a winner. I’m definitely going to be ordering more bottles of this. I use the specifically for my face, so it will last awhile.For the rest of my body if I’m going on vacation, or somewhere where I need a tan or I want my legs to be tan I can use the other tanning drops that I bought that I do not like on my face or the spray tan bottles.For my face… I want it to be a beautiful natural color, but for the rest of my body any tan is fine. I’m not so picky about the color because I’m not running around in a bikini 24/7 but you can see my face 24/7 if that makes sense.Besides, if I’m on vacation using a tan spray on my body eventually, I’ll get a real tan because I tend to do a lot of outdoor activities.Anyway highly recommend for the price, pigment and scent! 🍦👍👍👍👍

This tanning drops are great! I put about 3 -4 drops of this stuff to a palm full of moisturizing lotion and if I need more I do it again and it tanned me wonderfully I do not put it on my face I just let the sun do that but just a little don’t want to dry out my face but this stuff is great I bought 2 bottles and I’m planning on buying more! I mean at $5 a bottle it’s worth a try! Oh and it didn’t turn me orange just made me look like I went to the beach!

I’ve actually ordered these twice because I really like them! I’ve added drops to my fave lotion. Made sure to shake up. And use on arms, legs & face mostly daily. These don’t leave brown stains on clothing or bedding but give enough color to please me. And they have a pleasant, not medical smell. Very happy with them. And I’ve tried all types of tanning products.
