I do the Dave Ramsey system for money envelopes. He sells some but they are paper and get worn and torn. These are a great quality plastic and hold up well. I have had several store clerks ask me where I got them when I am paying for something.

My daughter with high functioning autism does her own shopping with help. We divide her shopping money (from her budget) into various categories. She puts the envelopes in her wallet. When she gets her change, the money goes back on the appropriate envelope and seals easily with the velcro enclosure. That way she does not get the money from the various categories mixed up, which she used to when she just used paper envelopes. They have worked well for us.
