Good for 1 6-8" pot. Nothing more.
I have been using this light for 2 months. Plants grow very leggy. Now that I have done further research I realize plants need at least 30 watts per sq foot from LEDs. The advertised 4 sq/ft is way to much for this little light. I have decided to keep it, and grow herbs in an 8" pot, with this just 6 inches above the soil. Shade tolerant plants such as mint and parsley are still leggy, but are tolerant of the light when kept on 16 hours per day. The color of the light is pleasant in our living room, providing nice color in the gray months of Minnesota. Just know the light is not going to work for much more than a single 6" pot.I have purchased a 300 watt LED light (180 watt consumption) to grow plants in a 2 x 3 foot area in my basement.

Works perfectly! Grows plants quick!
I bought the grow light expecting less than stellar results. I was suprised how quickly my plants grew. I started a Genovese Basil plant and a Jalapeno plant. The Basil plant is now almost fully grown. The Jalapeno plant is growing taller and should be producing jalapenos soon. The plants love this little light. I need to buy one more so I don't have to rotate the plants every day. Great light!

Poor Long Term Reliability
Bought this bulb 2.5 years ago, and barely used it for the first two years. I finally put it to daily use about 6 months ago, and now it is flickering and acting funny. The internal fan also seems to have burned out.If they had a 5 or 10 year warranty I'd say take the chance. But, at this price, with only a 1 year warranty, I'd try to find a grow light with better reliability,

Good enough
I've been using the lamp for one month so far. The lamp fits regular floor lamp socket, and I use it several hours per day for my home plants which I realized missed sunlight in the dark corner of my room. In addition to the primary function to lit my plants, the lamp unexpectedly brought very nice decorative element into my living room lighting because it emitted beautiful purple-reddish-lavender light. What I've noticed so far is that flowers started to grow very fast, and they looked healthier than before. One drawback- the lamp is little expensive, therefore I took one star off. Well, if it lasts for 10 years -it's OK (I doubt that but will see later).

I am surprised
This works great on house plants. I turn them on at night and off by day because they shine a blue-red which is not pleasing. I can now grow many more different types of house plants that I couldn't before. They grow faster and the foliage is brighter.

Good for a single plant
This light definitely works, I can tell because if it is near another plant, that plant will bend towards this light. The light however covers a very small area so it is only good for one medium sized indoor plant.

Great for starting vegetable transplants and growing Microgreens in your kitchen
We start our Vegie garden plants indoors about 8 weeks ahead of planting time. Last year my plants did not do very well and alot also got damping off. Saw these lights on two different websites, ordered one on wheatgrass kits dot com. Liked it and tried to order another - they quit selling it So got on Amazon and found this same bulb - my tomatoes, peppers etc. all came up very fast and strong! By the time it was time to plant - we had some of the healthiest looking transplants we have ever grown! AND.... after transplanting the plants seem to be growing better than ever too! Highly recommend---- we bought also on Amazon -IKEA Hemma Cord Set 15'5" with ceiling hooks. Have both lights on two sets of hemma cords using a clear plastic coat hanger to separate and raise and lower the lights as needed wrapping twist tie when at the right level. Started in my kitchen - so now I have room to grow some Microgreens under the lights in place of the vegie seedlings G

Great Garden Glower
This makes a great fill lamp for my conservatory. Shaded areas brighten and plants love it. A light level switch makes a good companion for these lamps. They turn on only when the lux level nears the level where the plants need more light.
