InstaBox i50 Wooden Digital Multi-Functional Speaker with Bluetooth FM Radio Alarm Clock MP3 Player Supports Micro SD/TF Card and USB with Remote Control

At first I was surprised at the small size of this radio - BUT it did have some weight to it. It was already charged, so I switched it on and activated the Bluetooth on my phone and this unit. Pairing happened without any problems. The music from the speaker was great. Lows, mids and high frequencies were coming thru just fine. Switched to the FM radio and set it to scan for stations. Twenty nine were found and automatically loaded into their own memory location. The FM radio reception was remarkable, as there is no external antenna. I have other radios, with external antennas, that don't pick up one fourth the number of stations that the InstaBox i50 does! After charging the radio's battery fully, I decided to see how long it would run. I put it on a local FM station and set the volume to a level like you would if the unit were on your desk at work - loud enough to hear well, but not disturb others. The radio played for a little over 16 HOURS straight!! I was not expecting that. The i50 has clock and alarm functions too. I took the radio outside while I was doing some yard work. I had to crank up the volume, probably 1/3 the way. It only lasted 10 hours at that level. Still not too bad. This seems like a well-built unit and the sound is GREAT. See the pictures for some connection options. By the way, if you're using the Bluetooth connection, you can answer you phone hands-free. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this Radio-Bluetooth Speaker-Clock-MP3 Player.

When opened my new instabox I50 radio I discovered that it is cream colored on the front and back with wood grain sides, it has a large display, it has sharp corners, it is really narrow which is convenient because you can put it on a windowsill. A couple more features i like about the radio are: It has a bluetooth function so you can use it as a bluetooth speaker and microphone which allows you to answer phone calls and play music from your phone, it is FM (sadly it can not listen to AM stations). You can set 2 different alarms, It can take a microSD card up to 32GB, you can plug a USB cord into it to charge a device (or a thumb drive to play music). You can use a auxiliary speaker cord plugged in to the headphone jack of a device to use the radio as a external speaker. It also comes with a remote which works for roughly about 10 feet (120 inches) away from the radio. There are also downfalls to the radio like: the instructions are not correct for this radio, it does not have a calendar (so it does not automatically adjust for daylight savings time or tell you the date). It does not have a external antenna instead it has a internal directional antenna, the battery gauge doesn’t move as the battery wears down(although it does show when it is dead or charging), The last thing is you can’t switch 24 hour to 12 hour.

I wanted to buy the "The Simple Music Player" from The Alzheimer's Store, but at $ 200 it was out of my budget. Since my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, she spends all day singing songs from her youth, but they do not put them on the radio anymore. I got all her songs and with the wide variety of options, usb, memory card or bluetooth, this is perfect for her. The volume button is the most conspicuous so she can raise or lower the volume to her liking. She is much calmer, less anxious since listening to her favorite music. Very good option, and the sound is impressive for its small size. I hope this helps someone with a similar situation.

I had a very specific purpose for getting the InstaBox and while I needed to make a few adjustments to use it the way I wanted to I have been very satisfied overall.On the absolute plus side the remote works great and was one of the features that led me to buy the Instabox. The sound (especially the tone) is very good for a device of it’s size. The Bluetooth connectivity has been effortless and is much appreciated. Five stars on all of these points.The one big negative I have is that the power gauge goes from full to empty very quickly. I have adjusted to that by recharging my InstaBox every day, something I was hoping not to do. On the positive side here is that I am using the InstaBox on average a couple of hours a day and leaving it on the standby mode so I am likely using more stored power than many other people considering using.I am basically using the InstaBox to listen to recorded talks and my other problem is that for a long talk that is not divided into tracks the InstaBox will start from the beginning of the talk if I power it off or put in on standby mode. I took care of this by dividing these long talks into apx. five minute chunks so at worst I listen to apx. 5 minutes of the same talk again. I’d prefer that InstaBox took up exactly where I left off (as many other similar MP3 players I have had do) but is not a game changer since I divided these talks up myself.In sum, I am very happy with the InstaBox and very glad I bought it. It is great as a Bluetooth speaker and very good as an MP3 player after overcoming the problem I noted above.

It's even cuter in person!! I added a pic of me when it arrived because I was so excited! It's really good quality too, the sound is clear and gets pretty loud!the battery life is good. it doesn't take long to charge. I plugged it in, then left for class. when i cam back about 2.5 hours later it was fully charged. Since then the battery hasn't died, and I have been using it for an alarm clock and Bluetooth music. Also I like how this has function for alarm clock, I have been using it. Also I really like how the charger is a usb, so it makes it super easy for traveling and bringing it with you anywhere

Disappointing. Battery life is at best 2 hours before it requires recharging and battery indicator does not reflect the level of charge remaining. It would be better as a mains only device.

De pequeño Tamaño pequeño y un robusto acabado en madera. Tiene un bonito aspecto y un buen sonido, es pesado y con unas patas de goma, que se sujetan bien a una superficie plana. He probado la radio y el Bluetooth, y me ha sorprendido lo bien que suena. Viene muy bien embalado con doble caja de cartón.Tiene un bonito aspecto, es una buena compra tanto para ponerlo en casa, en la mesilla de noche o en la oficina.Recomendable el producto y el vendedor.

Francamente me ha sorprendido (para bien). El sonido es bueno, tiene bastante potencia e incluso con el sonido alto no distorsiona. Sintoniza perfectamente las frecuencias y el sonido es muy nítido. La vinculación con equipos Bluetooth es muy sencilla y la calidad de la música es buena. Amazon tiene un Link en su página donde se puede descargar el manual del usuario (lo cual recomiendo puesto que no viene en castellano). Perfectamente embalada. Incluye todos los accesorios necesarios para el perfecto funcionamiento. Ah, el mando incluye batería de alimentación :).
