Excellent guide to various economic philosophies and how they affect teaching
There is considerable variation in educational methods, with Teacher's Unions leaning toward a more collectivist and social model. This general model emphasizes "getting along" and "following orders" rather than developing analytic thought and independent thinking. This booklet describes various educational methods and allows you to compare the "models" of the various systems in use. Hopefully, as politics progress, parents will have greater choice between various teaching philosophies. (I strongly advocate "taxpayer funding should follow the student to whatever school, public, charter, private, or homeschool, that the parents prefer.)

Hard to read
While the book was very interesting and informative, the quality of the printing was terrible. Numerous words run together, from start to finish!
