Youngbloods

I really enjoyed reading this book, always enjoy reads by Scott Westerfeld.However, the book was damaged with folded pages and the dust cover was ripped. I also noticed that it’s bound upside-down, and the spine was already broken. Overall poor quality of the physical book itself, pretty disappointed about it.

Love Scott Westerfeld and the universe he has created with The Uglies and now The Impostors series. Love the lessons being taught in this book specifically & was pleasantly surprised at the direction the story went in the end. Very fitting. These have been my comfort stories since I was a young teen & I could read them for a lifetime… wouldn’t be mad if Tally Youngblood’s universe lived on forever because there’s just so much more I want to know about the world in its post-rusty era.

In what I think is the last book in the uglies series. That I have lived since I was 16! It’s a ending worth having ! It’s amazing. Filled with the Tully we got to know in the early days of the specials. She’s harder herself again. And how we know the truth of the dust. Amazing ending. Could not put it down. Really couldn’t. Got it at 3:4o finished at 10:20pm.

While I thought the Impostors series was an interesting take, this last book felt like it fell short of really concluding the series. Maybe that was intentional. Perhaps Scott Westerfeld might be gearing up for another round. Who knows? Youngbloods just felt rushed and the pacing was too fast for my liking.

I can't believe this is the end! What an excellent series! Bring me more, Mr. Westerfeld!!!
