❗️THIS IS A REAL REVIEW❗️This soap works at first and then it just made my skin get worse and it stopped working. I went to Africa and got African soap from there and I wanted to see if I can find one that’s from America. And this soap was the perfect match at first. It smells just like the soap from Africa and it also looks like it. This soap is really bigger and it will last longer. Overall this soap was amazing and helped me with my acne and then it stopped working and made my acne worst. I wouldn’t really recommend. :)

I would never describe African Black Soap as moisturizing. I’ve been using it for years. I would say it is extremely deep cleansing and leaves not an ounce of dirt behind. It can also be drying, at least in my experience, so I also add Shea and coconut oil after my DIY mask when using ABS w/my skin care routine.

Don’t buy this soap!! I ordered it for my son and and when I open it it look Disgusting I will put pic. I ordered it before and it was nothing like that. This cannot be %100 organic.

I don’t use black soap to be moisturizing. I don’t need moisture from my soap. This soap leaves my skin feeling clean. That is exactly what I want.

Husband works outside and get horrible heat rash... This soap not only dries the rash out but prevents it also. Excellent soap for acne and discolorations on your face too. Be warned... If u purchase in summer it comes wrapped in saran wrap and this stuff melts!!! When you unwrap your Amazon box do it somewhere you won't mind getting a bit of brown soap in it (sink, kitchen table). Use an electric knife to cut into smaller blocks or do what we do and out it in a Tupperware tub w a lid on it and just Scrub your bath sponge over it. Eventually the water left in the Tupperware tub melts the soap into a nice liquid gooie mess that is perfect for use. Family of six, this bar last a month. If u have sensitive skin or broken ski it might sting a bit when u shower w it, but the soap speeds up the healing process better than yellow antibacterial dial soap!

This is the worst possible thing that could have ever happened. I've been using African Black Soap for over 5 years. I had been buying from the same seller the whole time. This particular seller had gone up in price. So I decided to use a different seller. If "you get what you pay for" was a person, it is me. A couple of days after using it my face and neck became horribly dry and this is the result. I use cold pressed coconut oil as moisturizer after washing. There is a little on my forearms too. Going back to my original seller.

My daughter has atopic dermatitis and she gets really bad rashes that peels her skin in her private areas. This soap os LIFE! As long as there are no open wounds it won't burn. We both use it and our skin loves it. I got mine within 1 so I'll keep ordering from this merchant. Plus it's the best price I've found

I've used a few different black soaps and this is the one I'm going to stick with. I've tried Plant Guru but it has coconut oil in it. I learned the hard way that it makes me itch. I tried Dudu Osun and the heavy fragrance was way too much for me. Shea Terra powdered is good but it is very expensive and it doesn't suds up as much as this does. This has an earthy smokey scent and I'm really pleased with the amount of suds I get.
