Piercing Cleaner
A little over a week ago, I decided to pierce my nose at home. 😂 It took a lot of faffing, coz it's difficult to self-pierce in a mirror. My new piercing started to feel kinda angry, slightly inflamed - it took a beating coz the jewellery was a faff & I possibly used the wrong size cannula. Anyhoo...I'd been cleaning it with a homemade salt solution & it was still feeling no better - it was very tender & the skin around it was starting to look a bit angry/red. Fearing possible infection, I decided to buy this (I also got a bottle of the non rapid lotion), in an attempt to save the piercing & hopefully avoid an infection.Have I been using it precisely according to the instructions? No. 😂 MY ADHD brain gets distracted by shiny things pretty much hourly, so I've only been using this when I remember it exists. Nowhere near the 3x a day the instructions demand. Has it helped? Absolutely. Even with my lax, half-a$$ed usage, my piercing feels so much better! The tenderness & throbbing has disappeared pretty much entirely now. The red, angry skin has gone. The whole thing feels much more relaxed, like it's healing well. So I would definitely say it's done it's job effectively. Was it good value for money? I'm on the fence. It did help to sort out a possible impending infection. But the bottle price is still kinda steep. Was it ease to use? Meh. I've been using cotton buds & the spout thing on the bottle is not great for getting the solution onto cotton buds. You also can't remove the spout thing without potentially risking a spillage (you'd need to cut it off, coz it's sealed on). I'd ditch the spout thing & just have a regular bottle opening. Users would still be able to decant it onto a cotton pad by holding it over the top & inverting the bottle & cotton bud users would be able to dip a clean cotton bud in the neck of the bottle. I'm having to hold my cotton buds against the hole in the spout thingy & gently squeeze the bottle to get the solution out, but this often ends in spillage & it's too expensive to spill it!

Honestly you NEED this for new piercings!!
I have been using this for only 6 days and honestly this is the best product. I had a reaction to the jewellery my helix was pierced with so had to change it early. From this I had huge swelling, bleeding and pus it was disgusting and painful and red and gross. Using this stuff within 6 days all the nastiness has gone and my ear is back to a normal colour and the swelling has completely gone! Doesn’t hurt at all!! This stuff is amazing! Yes it does smell like bleach but it works wonders I am so happy! Wish I knew about it from the start of my piercing!

I think this is great only to use on ears though.
Using this on my ears this solution worked tremendously but on my nose piercing not so much in fact I was cleaning my nose twice sometimes three times a day and it still got infected and had a bump on it so I'd only recommend on your ears more so than your nose.

Best I’ve tried
I’ve had a few piercings done recently (a love stud at Claire’s and some cartilage piercings at a piercing shop). The solution from Claire’s really did help the love piercing heal well and I used up what was left on my tragus, nose and conch piercings. When I ran out I bought the saline spray from the piercing shop which wasn’t as good. The Claire’s solution seemed to help with discomfort too which the saline didn’t (even my homemade salt water didn’t work well for swelling or discomfort).
