We had an old basset who had yeast and fungal issues with his skin, this is the only thing that brought him comfort skin wise and helped dry up the yeast in his dog pits.

I believe I have Seborrheic dermatitis or at least some type of scalp yeast infection. My scalp has always been very itchy, oily, and flaky. I've tried a ton of dandruff shampoos (very expensive types) and they never helped. Some research led me to want to try Ketoconazole which is an antifungal and I quickly found human products with this ingredient are expensive but pet shampoos have the same thing! This also has Chlorhexidine 2% which also didn't concern me as I know this is commonly used to cleanse the skin on humans and pets prior to surgery. I didn't have time to leave it on for as long as I would have liked, only 3-4 mins but even with just that I noticed a huge improvement! I will use it 2 more times this week then cut down to once a week. I used my regular shampoo and conditioner right after and my hair was so soft and no tangles! Usually my hair is so hard to brush! I'm impressed, my daughter's scalp is worse this mine, so I will update after she uses it.

I appreciate how easy the product was to use and especially rinsed out, considering it must be on at least 10 minutes.With my dog having allergies.I was extremely grateful this product (many do) didn’t irritate his skin more.This product was advised to order by the vet.

Love this shampoo works great from short hair to long hair. 7 year old boxer always has had allergies to everything and tried this shampoo it works wonders. Have long-haired Yorkies their fur would knot up, not with this shampoo, makes their coat just as beautiful smooth and so soft as our boxers fur! I will always purchase this!!

I use this combined with Davis Benzoyl Peroxide Medicated Dog & Cat Shampoo. First I use the Benzoyl Peroxide and let it sit for 5 minutes, then rinse and use this keto-c and let it also sit for 5 minutes.I have an Aussie with skin issues stemming from allergies, we think. It seems like a skin infection or maybe yeast that was never properly diagnosed by my vet. All I know is he was losing hair, had a yeasty smell and buildup and pimples, etc all over his stomach, hind legs and sides. Using these two shampoos once a week has finally started returning his coat to normal. I still have a problem area on his side, but it's slowly getting better.

My scalp gets dry and flaky and sometimes I get red, irritated areas from it. I also get that on my face, hairline, eyebrows, where my nose meets my cheek, mustache etc. Science doesn't know what it is or how to cure it. They guess it might be an allergic reaction or inappropriate reaction of one's immune system to harmless mites, fungus, etc. that is present on everyone's skin or perhaps to face mite feces.Sure some things can help but for the most part you have to mix it up because your body stops responding to the products so you have to discontinue use for a while so the product can be effective again. Clinique redness solutions products have probiotics and not only are their products dermatologist certified to help with Rosacea but are allergy tested. They are great for the face but I needed something for my scalp and hairline.I haven't used this product on my face because you're supposed to avoid using it on mucous membranes and eye balls but it is killer for my hairline and scalp!!I didn't understand what everyone was talking about but now I must say it makes my coat look super shiny! Mostly because my black leather coat isn't covered in dandruff.
