Good quality camera
I bought this camera for holiday as I didn't want to have to take my phone out all the time but still wanted to take good quality selfie and pictures in general. This camera ticked all the boxes, picture quality was surprisingly very good for the price of the camera. I loved the selfie screen option though you need to be patient and practice a little to get used to angling the camera right. The instruction manual was pretty basic but in fairness the controls aren't complicated and if in doubt, there is a YouTube video of a guy going through the camera functions (just type name of camera in YouTube search). All in all, am glad I went for this, compact camera, quality pics, selfie option, spare battery for on the go and all at a good price. Go for it!

Decent Camera - Perfect For the Intended Purpose
Recently I've had several cases where purchases I've made online and had to return have required photos of the item as 'proof' of the condition. Same thing with some legal and other documents I've been expected to provide for ID verification and other similar reasons.Despite a background in professional photography I've not taken a photograph in over 20 years so have never owned or used a digital camera. But with these unwanted but seemingly unavoidable reasons and its many other potential uses I decided I needed to buy one.I looked around, checked the specs, read reviews for dozen of cameras on various web sites and it appeared that even a relatively simple and affordable (<Ā£100) digital camera would be good enough for the jobs I have described. I just went for the camera that had the best spec and good reviews at that price point. The camera has not disappointed in any way. As I do not have experience of other digital camera's menu system and operation I have no idea whether it is better or worse than any other. The point being is that I found it pretty easy to pick up and use without even referring to the instruction manual. But I would recommend that you do read that at some point if you want the best results from it.I've found the close focusing, even though the lens is a moderate wide-angle, exceptionally useful for the document copying and other purposes I mentioned. The video mode is OK as far as I've used it too.The only negatives for me are mostly minor details or questionable design matters:-1). The battery charge indicator goes from showing full power (green) to orange after very little use. How many photos you can take before it becomes unusable I've yet to discover.2). The whole of the front of the 'lens' is actually an UV filter in an over heavy mount which just seems to be there to make it look more like a conventional camera, an unnecessary affectation. I've fitted my own much lighter UV filter and a far more useful lens hood.3). The connection ports are hidden behind a pop-off moulding on the right held in place so you don't lose it by.......what seems to be a small piece of elastic!4). The camera strap mountings are nasty thin plastic eyelets, part of the camera body, which look like they'll break or wear out very easily.5). The most serious 'fault' I've found is the default exposure settings. I tried it on a range of different subjects with an even range of tones and I'd say the camera consistently overexposes by about 1/2 a stop. This is easily corrected in the exposure setting menu so its no real problem. In conclusion - I am very happy with my purchase. The camera does everything I wanted and far more, the picture quality is good and its relatively simple to use.

A great camera at good price
A really neat camera, at a low price for the functionality. It has a cool webcam function, with a built in microphone that works really well. There is a playback and edit mode that allows good manipulation of the image taken.I bought this camera to run a university video experiment and I am very happy with it. The quality is good for the price and the zoom quality and anti-shake work well. With 2 batteries and a memory card, it is great value for money.

Great little camera
I am by no means a professional, nevertheless I am more than happy with this little camera. As a hobby this would be an ideal camera for anyone. Very easy to use, feels really nice in the hand and I like it comes with the wrist strap and the lens cover for protection. The addition of a second battery is also very useful as you can always have both batteries charged to take with you. I have not used the camera long enough to confirm how long one battery lasts but as previously said you do get the two.The pictures that have been taken were by my niece who pleaded with me to let her try it, I didn't want to have to deal with tears so I let her use it. She did use it late afternoon on a fairly gloomy day (this is Scotland, what else do we get). However, I think they turned out really well. She loved using it, she said it was really easy to use and she delivered it back intact. As you can see in the photo for the actual camera itself, it does come with the necessary cables, usb and hdmi, case strap, 2 batteries, lens cap and sd card. Right out the box you are good to go. I really feel most people would enjoy this camera as a first camera but also as an upgrade from a cheaper camera. I wouldn't say a professional would use this camera but you may feel like a professional as it really does have a nice weight and feel to it and has anti-shake, pause, continuous shooting. There is so much to this camera you'll be amazed at the price.Overall, I thoroughly recommend this camera for the picture quality (even on gloomy days). For all the extras you get which you sometimes have to pay extra for and for the convenience of Amazon Prime next day delivery on most occasions. It would make a great gift or a great treat for yourself.
