I spent hours combing Amazon, Wayfair, Target, Costco, and Walmart websites for just the right counter height barstools. I needed them to spin, and to be sturdy, and comfortable to sit on for older people, not just for myself. And I wanted them to look nice in the process.Wish I had just started here; the only reason I looked so many other places was because I forgot to try Amazon for these, foolishly. Hated the options on the other sites, and was ready to give up before I thought to look here.These are almost perfect. I was torn between these and a blue PU leather version from another maker, and I think either would have worked, but these were a nicer shape. I bought the navy ones, because I have a white kitchen and dark brown island with a light top, and I am using navy accents in the open plan kitchen/lr.They are delightfully unobtrusive. I thought of going for the stone PU leather ones, and those would have looked nice as well, but they would have stood out, and I really wanted them to fade into the background a bit. The tops come just two inches above my countertop, so they don’t take away from the open feel when looking across the island. They spin nicely, though they don’t snap back to where they started, unfortunately; they’re supposed to, per the description, but mine don’t seem to do it so far. Still, smooth spin mechanism and a comfy seat cushion as well. My mom with sciatica was able to sit and work there for a couple of hours, no problem.I kind of flipped out when unwrapping the first one. They’re nicely packaged, by the way, so no damage to worry about. But the wooden legs look and feel plasticine for some reason. I had to really make sure they were wood… that was upsetting momentarily, when I thought I paid for wooden legs, but they are wood, just very light and with a shiny black finish.It isn’t all that shiny when they’re assembled and in place, though. It just kind of fades against my dark island cabinets, which is what I wanted. It looked much better when I finished assembly, for some reason. But because there isn’t high color contrast between the chair and the legs, the whole chair does kind of fade away, exactly as I want, against the island. If you want something that stands out more, pick a higher contrast color; dark navy with black isn’t going to do that!I bought the set of two plus a third individual one, and they all match nicely and were very easy to assemble by myself. There’s a tiny fiddle factor at first, but I got better at it quickly enough.Everyone in our house likes them so far—and that includes a 5’3” octogenarian and a 5’2” septuagenarian, so that’s pretty good; those two tend to be particular about seating comfort, and these passed their test!

Compare to Pottery Barn, Arehaus, Grandin Road for style kudos. Good heft but not heavy. 300 lb weight capacity. Easy 360 swivel, comfortable seating and foot rest hits just right. I love the fabric! Easy assembly says the hubby.

The media could not be loaded. Simply can’t say enough about these bar stools. They arrived packaged incredibly well and they were so easy to put together.The fabric is gorgeous and very durable. We use these daily and have already had several spills which cleaned up nicely. I love the foot kick plate as it is metal so incredibly durable and functional. The swivel function is great too to ease getting into and out of the chair when seated beside another. You will be incredibly pleased with these chairs.

Beautiful Stools. Very happy with the color, quality and comfort Super easy to put together. I ordered 5 in which 3 came together on one day, well packaged in perfect condition and the last 2 came about 2 days later with damaged packaging. There was a minor scrape on one leg, which I fixed with black marker and the spinning mechanism didn't spin as easily, on the one with the damaged leg. Overall, very happy but gave it 4 stars for the damaged box and stool.

I purchased these for our counter in the kitchen. They are the perfect height for a countertop, are well made with great fabric and were very easy to put together. They are comfortable to sit in and swivel for ease of entrance.

These chairs are a perfect height to sit at our island! My 71yr husband has a bad back and was able to put these two chairs together in about an hour. I handed him screws and such. 🙄The chairs are sturdy and have a nice leather look. Company we’ve had spilled a glass of white wine over the seat of one which cleaned up just great with paper towels and water! No damage to the look at all.I sit at the island to use my iPad, pay bills, write and read. I’m very comfortable!

I put these together in about 30 minutes even missing last page of instructions.I purchased the fabric, so applied Scotchgard.They are sturdy, swivel nicely, and are comfortable.I can't see why Amazon lists them as a frequently returned item.
