The lights are a set feature no way to turn it off don't purchase if sensitive to blinking lights.
I bought this so my children could play their games on my computer with out having to fight with real speakers or have them destroy my headset I use for gaming. When I opened it, I liked it, it was small and compact and I figured it would be perfect. Upon turning it on and looking more at it. The light display is fixed no way to turn it off except to have the device off, and it's distracting, I didn't look at the questions asked for the video people have posted of it, just the reviews where people said it was awesome. So I didn't know it was a set feature until I actually turned it on and tried to us it. While the sound quality is great, the lights are too much for me, and I will either end up trying to cover it so I can't see it or buying something else that is less distracting, it reminds me of the flashing lights they have for crosswalks just more colorful.

Powers off
Randomly powers off. I thought it was due to a low battery, but even after leaving it plugged in for hours and playing it while currently plugged in it still randomly powers off.

Surprisingly durable. Love the blinking lights!
Got this for a 5th grader for Christmas and now I’m August it’s still going strong despite the abuse it suffers at the hands of the kids! I expected it to last maybe a month, tops. Pleasant surprise.

Good sound
The sound is great. The cord is shorter than I'd hoped, maybe 3 feet, but has aux cord attached, which is nice because you only need one cord. Does not have wall charger, it is USB only. We bought it for our office so we could customize our playlist or play seasonal music. It plays loudly and clearly enough for everyone in our 1200 sf office to enjoy.

Can’t turn off lights
This is a perfect little compact speaker. My plan was to keep it in the kids room always turned on so I could start playing music before I came in in the mornings. However, the lights cannot be turned off. And they are quite bright.Otherwise a great purchase!

Battery stopped charging after 3 months!
Bought this in February, it was working well and now it no longer holds a charge! I think a speaker should last longer than 3 months.
