Very very relevant!
Somewhat Americanised but that doesn't matter at all! This book is fantastic - stroke can affect anyone, although 75% of peple who get strokes are over 65. Just the age when anyway you're probably having trouble coping....So - great! Buy this book!

Do not purchase
Bought this book in the hopes it would provide invite on getting by after being home, but every point provided was explained, offered in the rehab hospital. Essentially, she wrote out points that any goof physiotherapist or occupational therapist advises you before going home. If you have had a stroke, and they sent you home immediately without any care, which would be crazy, this book would be helpful. But there was not one point out of 500 that was not advised to me by my therapists and doctors. I found this to be a waste of money, am disappointed and wouldn’t recommend. You can find the same info on google for FREE!!
