Wish it was water resistant. If you put on wet or moist surfaces, water seeps through the fabric and gets you wet.

We live in chicago and love walking around the city. On the weekends we would sometimes take a bed sheet with us if we went to the lake. Now this monkey may lies in my diaper bag and we almost use it every single day. We don't need to plan to go to the lake or anything - it's so easy to find uses for it. Going to the museum - take a short break in the lawns and spread out on this mat. Trip to the playground - let the kids play while the adults sit in the grass and lounge on this mat. Indispensable. Just get it. Also, we are glad we got this bigger mat. If you are 2 adults, the smaller mat would be too small.

Even though it was thinner than I expected (the quilted version), it did pretty much serve it's purpose. We laid it out on top of some partially dry/ partially green grass and it worked for the most part. Gave us somewhere to relax on at the park. it pretty much kept the dry grass from poking through as well, which I was surprised. The material kept cool, which is good for my dog and for us. Glad I got this. will come in handy to just keep in the trunk for beaches or parks.

After seeing this on shark tank I bought this to use for the summer. It has a multitude of uses including at the beach where I use it for a blanket and then to corral sandy items in my car. It rinses off easily and dries quickly. I love that I don’t have to fold it perfectly and it always goes back into the little pouch with no fuss. I do wish the weights were heavier but they’re still better than carrying around stakes. This is perfect to keep in the car or diaper bag but I’ve even used it at school for outside times. It’s a sturdy product that I would purchase again

I love almost everything about this mat. It is super compact and portable and the additional points to stake it down are great. I wish the weights were heavier. Unfortunately the parachute material lends itself to getting caught in a breeze and the weights offer next to no help keeping it down. I am currently trying to figure out how to add additional weights to the corners. I also wish it the material was a tiny bit thicker.

Despite some negative reviews, bought it to take on vacation to the beach. Staked into sand at windy Pensacola Beach and it worked like a charm! Stakes stayed in and no tears in the lightweight fabric. The bright orange color I chose made it really easy to spot from a distance, when in water. I would caution against putting stakes in bag with mat. That's just asking for a tear. My husband put them in a tiny stuff sack (almost same material), and clipped to Monkey Mat's D-ring. Perfect! Only negative:. The stakes should come with it! Hated having to pay almost $10 more.

Not waterproof at all! Within seconds of putting in my backyard the day after it rained (no puddles, just wet grass), my socks and pants were soaked. Disappointed.

Large enough for us all to fit on. Little thin but fits well back into pouch. Wish there were pattern options, you know like a texas flag or something. Usefull item in my diaper bag.

Exactly as described, super light-weight and easy to use, folds right back to fit in the pouch.

this was okay for the concert we went too. It is very very thin and the corners arent very "weighted"

Perfect for traveling. Not water resistant! We accidentally sat in wet grass using the monkey blanket and everyone had soaked bums from the wet ground.

This mat is hard to put down, the weights need to be stronger. It flies away on the beach
