Good
Nova and RokaAnother victim of the mysterious cell-phone/AI incident, Nova finds herself transported away from her dream cruise in Alaska, to a tropical water-world.There she meets Roka, a Triton, or water-dwelling otherworldly being. The lands around Rokaās home are too dangerous to inhabit, and thatās why Nova finds herself living a life in an underwater cavern, with an attractive mer-manā¦This multi-author project has spawned a number of new worlds, new aliens, and a fun set of loosely interlinked stories.Theyāre all quick reads, and this one is no exception. Newly edited to fix some of the early errors, readers will enjoy finding a different type of mer-man (and maybe they started thinking of Jerry Andersonās Stingray series too!).This one is really all about coming to terms with a new life, and there is not a whole lot of danger/adventure experienced by our hero and heroine, but I give extra credit for the author remembering to answer that ever present question in books like theseā¦āwhat about the toilet?āIf you enjoy sci-fi romance, mer-aliens, or just the different tales of women transported by the cell-phone glitch, then this is a book I think youāll enjoy.

Fractured is a good description!
This is the 3rd book in the āseriesā and it didnāt flow as well as the others. I read the authors note & the trouble she has with a loss on her family & poor 1st editor-but the story itself was disjointed like she couldnāt figure out where her characters where headed. Novaās back story kept evolving but not in a way that would make any sense for the world she found herself in so it felt like a waste of time. Rokaās past was better written but then added details just threw it off. The story itself just felt like it was fractured pieces being sewed together.

It's an ok read
Overall, this was an ok read and i will continue with the series...We find out a little more about what may have caused the cell phone "update" glitch (pro).Nova is a bit annoying (con), but hey, she did get thrown into another world so i'll make some allowances.New plot line in the series, Nova wonders was she was sent into Earth's future? Another world? Or another world in the future? Huh... A bit confusing (con)Backstories for both H/h kinda didn't go anywhere (con)Ending felt rushed, anti climactic & not really sure if this is supposed to tie into another book or series as there was anothe character, Kona, and potential other human running around that we never really explored. (con)

Nova was transported to another place. What! Roka found her and took care of her. This was a water story and fun to read. Enjoy

Roka and Nova
Great description of their cave.I'm always amazed by the way an author can pull you into a story with just a few short paragraphs. I really could sympathize with both Nova and Roka. Amazing how our pasts form our personality, and insecurities. Glad they were able to talk things out. Love a HEA.

Felt Like a First Effort
This story was okay, borderline good. The heroine was unfortunately unlikeable. She made dumb mistakes and assumptions. It took half the story before she finally started liking the hero who was nothing but kind and gentle with her the whole time. There were odd jumps in descriptions where one second they were doing one thing and the next another, or the next sentence was days later. The momentum of the story was odd. The hero was very attractive and sweet, but not enough to make the story worth reading a second time.

AWESOME Story š
This series keeps getting more interesting and different š. This time the world is covered by ocean and what little land there is, is dangerous š². Thanks again Samantha, I truly enjoyed this story and look forward to more š¤.

Horrific Editing
I normally never write a bad review because of editing but wow... this one left me no option. (I also kind of hate that I started this with the dreaded "I normally never write..." line but I honestly couldn't come up with an alternative, sorry!)The first two books of this collaborative series were great, and I was super excited for this one, but I ended up struggling through the first 60 pages or so, then skimmed a sentence or two from each page for the rest of the book. The lack of editing is apparent very early on, and not just in the grammar and structure of the writing. When it goes from 'meeting on a beach-taken to a cave-main character passed out-rescuer goes to hunt fish and gather seaweed' to 'rescuer returns with fruits and vegetables-is attacked by the main character-it's been 2 days'?? That threw me for a loop and destroyed what little sense of being immersed in the story I had been able to achieve. My final straw before starting to skim was when trying on a dress for hot weather the MC describes it reaching their knees, then immediately tries on a dress for colder weather that "falls an inch longer" and "reaches my ankles"... hate to break it to you, but if your knee and your ankle are an inch apart, you may have bigger issues than landing on an alien planet.Add to this an extremely unlikable personality for the main character, awkward story pacing, a plethora of little extra snippets of information or side characters being mentioned but never expanded on, and a relationship with all the sizzle of a wet gym sock and you have a book that left me regretting the time I spent on it.I hope that the author will one day pull this book, send it to some beta readers for review and feedback, and get a good editor to go over it. It definitely has potential, but this should honestly be considered a rough first draft, not a publication ready manuscript.

time jump via cell phone? really?!
This is a waste of my time and money. A travel via cell phone to a different planet.. yea right. Flat story , not interesting at all.
