I just opened it and the book I found is failing apart with the cover up to page v being more than halfway torn apart. It will do just fine as the purpose is content base not aesthetics but I am living a review to note that this is how I received the book.

Même s'il existe une très grande diversité de manuels sur l'économie du développement. Le Todaro est souvent cité, le Perkins est pour moi mieux construit. Les différents thèmes sont abordés... même s'il manque celui du rôle des institutions et l'ensemble a été conçu pour des étudiants qui n'ont pas de connaissances préalables ce qui en facilite évidemment la lecture. Un ouvrage de base assez simple et souvent très clair qu'il serait facheux de mépriser.
