Bought these to repair some cat 6 line. Works great as intended

I had a 50’ hdmi cable with a broken end. It had been run through tubing, but wouldn’t budge, so the only option was to repair it. I cut the end off a good hdmi cable, used a multimeter to match up wires, and connected the tiny wires with these splice connectors. I twisted each pair about an inch from the ends before inserting the two ends in a connector. It works! I think it’s important to add that I had first tried the repair with a solderless hdmi repair end that had 20 screw terminals to match to hdmi wires - this did not work. I think the gel in these connectors makes a better electrical connection than the screw terminals.

These are like the ones the phone company uses for underground wiring but not as heavy duty. Still, they survived a winter with massive settling (buried line with frozen dirt) before one failed.

Had to slice small wires and these were perfect.

These connectors make such things as telephone wire connecting a breeze. Don't hesitate to purchase.
