Great value for a starting set of silverware
As the title says this is a really nice starting set for silverware. First ill tell you the few things I liked. 1. I liked how polished these silverware are. They really shine and stand out. 2. These are fairly heavy as well. Much much heavier than our old silverware and we have 2 or 3 different kinds. The butter knife alone was significantly heavier than 1 of our older ones. And almost twice as heavy compared to our lightest knife. Me personally I enjoyed it. Made the silverware feel a bit more weighty and hefty. It gives it a solid feeling in your hand. The butter knives themselves are fairly sharp too compared to what other knives are. I'm sure that'll fade with time but its noticeable with these brand new. 3. The spoons were different than what I'm used to. They were larger and longer than what I'm used to. Some might like or dislike this. But i like it. I threw in a picture of our older spoons in comparison. 4. The value of this set is fairly cheap for what you get. And it feels like its quality as well. Nothing super fancy -which i enjoy the simple design- but not cheap either. Its definitely worth the 40$. Thats my personal opinion but let's get to the things I didn't like. 1 The polish is so nice that its a fingerprint magnet and easily shows them off. This is kinda what you'd expect but still an issue. 2 With the forks at least, the tips of the forks feel like they were filed down a little to small. To the point that they're sharp enough to scrap plastic plates. Which is what I used and indeed there was a small scrape. Nothing major but now I must be careful when I use these to only use them on glass plates. Again this is just with the forks.Overall I enjoy this set of silverware. The heavy feel goes well with them and its a change of pace from the lighter cheaper silverware I've used. I recommend these if you want to try something new that definitely feels like its quality rather than cheap. And enjoy the larger sized silverware

From summer BBQ's to winter candlelit dinners this set is ready!
Brand: KeawellStyle: LouiseMade of: 18/10 stainless steelThis well made 20 piece set includes; 4 dinner forks, 4 salad forks, 4 Dinner spoons, 4 teaspoons, and 4 serrated dinner knives. The knives have a serrated strong edge (see photo) that is sharp enough to use on chicken breast, pork chops, and other small cutlets. This is not a butter knife and is one of the best designed dinner knife, that is not an actual steak knife. The look of this set is really nice, with a smooth handle that will look great with different types of dinnerware. It’s a classic design that will look good on a picnic table out back for a BBQ and equally good for a candlelight dinner for two. The stainless steel finish has a beautiful shine to each piece. The weight of each piece has a heavy feel in your hand and “feels” like they are sturdy, durable silverware. IMO, light weight silverware can have a “cheaper” feel, with a lack of quality. This set definitely does not feel cheap and the quality shows in the weight and durability that it does not bend easily. The dinner fork weighs 1.9 ounces (see picture) as an example. The only part of the set that was unexpected was the size of the teaspoon. This is a personal preference, not a negative. The teaspoon was not much smaller compared to the very large dinner spoon. 7.87 dinner vs 7.24 teaspoon in size difference. (See photo)I am pleased the company took the time to make their product properly, with nice details that are noticed.

Quality, heavy-duty silverware set
The media could not be loaded. This 20-piece silverware set features solid construction, a nice balance, and a very shiny finish. They arrive in a nice box with contains 4 each of a dinner spoon, teaspoon, dinner knife, dinner fork, and salad fork.Your first impression will be about the weight. These are not light, and it will take a bit of getting used to the weight of these knives compared to the silverware I was using, but I appreciate that these are a nice piece of solid steel. The entire set is a bit larger than what I was using, the dinner spoon and teaspoon especially are larger than their counterparts in my previous silverware. All pieces are machine washable, and the 18/10 stainless steel should prevent tarnishing. The finish is very shiny, almost too shiny, which is my only complaint. Because it is so shiny, you can leave a fingerprint or smudge just laying them on the table, but you can easily wipe that away with any napkin or cloth. There is no way these are going to bend, and I'm very happy to think this set will last me a very long time.

Not sure what grade of stainless these are, they spot badly.
These have a highly mirrored finish. They are 18/10 in weight. But not sure of the quality of the stainless steel. They warn not to leave in water as they will rust..!! 😳The water spot badly. I might take a 1000 grit sandpaper to them, get some age on them so my scratches don’t show. The finish is good. No sharp edges. The teaspoons are very large, the size of a standard tablespoon. The tablespoons are huge. They are more like serving spoon size.

Nice everyday silverware set for the price!
Needed to replace some really old silverware and this popped up. When I received this, I actually thought that this would be a good gift item because the box packaging looked really cool. Opening the box, the presentation definitely was well thought out. Inspecting the pieces, it had a nice weight to it. Personally, I like really heavy silverware. This is right in the middle. Most of my friends and family usually have cheapie silverware that's old, lightweight and something you would see at a diner or inexpensive restaurant. The mfg name - Keawell is stamped on the underside in such a way that it seems more expensive than it actually is, even though most would not even be familiar with the name. This set looks classic/modern and a decent heft to it - perfect for an everyday use but not so fancy that you keep it only for special occasions. Well worth getting for the price
