Works great for outside, like backyard or side driveway of a house.It could be a good work light inside stand alone bid storage shed or stand alone garage If providing a longer wire from solar panel and the light.I would like to see a product in this line of usage.

Out of the box this is a really nice well built light. Easy to install and set up. Great battery life and the dusk to dawn works flawless. Love the solar powered makes perfect for mounting anywhere and the remote feature is a big plus.

It was an hour of work to do this installation plus another 2 hours to mount and paint the pole. The light puts out enough blight for my 20x28 ft deck. I mounted it on a 1 5/8 galvanized fence pipe. The hardware that came with the light was no right for that pole so I has to wrap the top with .5 “ of neoprene in order for it to work. I haven’t made sense yet of the confusing instructions for the remote . The light works well it just doesn’t do what you want if you follow directions. I played with the remote getting it to work but I’m going to have to take notes to repeat. I don’t know why these Chinese companies doesn’t hire an American company to do their manuals so they can be correct and usable. If your handy and comfortable doing home repairs this light is very nice but if you have to go to YouTube for directions on operating a screw driver it’s not for you. The hardware that was supplied was poor quality adequate for the job but not what I like to work with. One of the small screws didn’t even have thread on it and the screws for attachment of the solar panel were a bit too long. No lock washers came in the kit either. I don’t think the light has a motion detector in it that’s why I gave that feature 1 star.One additional comment the remote doesn’t work unless you are within 10 feet of unit making it a pain to use as I must go outside to do anything the reason I changed it from 4 to 1 star is the lights inability to be turned off. So if you don't want it to be going on every day it can't be done I will have to put a manual off switch into the wiring if I can. The light is so poorly engendered that I recommend you stay away for any made by this company

The packaging is terrible, when I opened the box, the white foam started to fly in the air. Due to the static In the air, small foam particles stuck to table, chair and everything else. The brightness is not so great, light works but it’s not 1000 watts. That’s false claim.
