Fit my 601 workmaster. Was not sure about it after reading some of the reviews about them leaking so I made sure I checked it before I re-installed everything. So far so good. I can see where you wouldn't want to over tighten it, as it shuts off just by using my fingers, though where it is located on the tractor it takes a screw driver to reach it. Time will tell. I also put a film of form a gasket ( rated for gasoline) when I installed it.

Worked fine for me. Pain to replace but no more leaks and tractor plowed great with this new one in

It fit my 601 workmaster great but didn't come with a new seal. Thank goodness I had some rounded rubber washers that fit because the one on my old one was almost gone.

Sorry to say it but this valve seems to have a Tennessee leak Not the easiest valve to put in when I got it in and I was like leaked in the same place the original one dead right where the shut off screws in and out

For the price its about half the cost of the original and about the same quality.

While this product looks good, nice clean casting and well made screen, it leaked immediately from the valve seat. The replacement of the valve requires removing the fuel tank, which is a lot of work, so make sure you test the valve for leakage before you go to the trouble and have to re-do the work

He’s had to replace this same valve two other times since we've had it, and it is annoyingly difficult since there is very little clearance between the gas tank and the valve cover. The quality of the replacements is nothing like the original, which had lasted over 30 years before it began leaking. Unfortunately, all the replacements seem to be this style and they've always started dripping after a few years. My husband said this one hasn't had any problem since he installed it about 1.5 months ago and we're hoping it's going to last. Recommend.

I didn't like that it leaked despite the tank being smooth and sanded well
