G E LIGHTING 92252 3.2W LED Reveal Bulb (2 Pack)

The light temperature and color is the same as incandescent Reveal bulbs, but the light pattern is different due to element placement. The incandescent bulbs have the element in a 'C' pattern that runs around the top of the bulb (opposite of the base) and emit light out of the sides (40%) and the top (60%). These LED bulbs have two elements that run from the base to the top, so they emit about 80% of light out of the sides, and only about 20% from the top - they won't work too well as vanity/makeup lights unless your face is less than a foot from the mirror. If GE would add another element that connects the other two (like a 'U' shape), then they would be perfect. I didn't notice any shadows from these since one of the elements is bent at slight angle to prevent such issues.

I like the clean white light these bulbs emit, which means that even when taken at nighttime, photos don’t have to be color-corrected very often. We have 12 of them installed on a dimmable chandelier, and I’ve noticed they give off a slight buzzing noise which bothers my child (he has autism and sensory processing issues). We have them partially dimmed because at full brightness, they are like a tiny sun. I wish that when they were off, they were clear-tinted instead of pale blue for aesthetics, but otherwise they a good value, remain cool when lit, and they are a prominent light source in my home.

Really like the light. So much better than the frosted incandescent reveal globe bulbs I had before. I have 8 of these in the bathroom vanity. The bathroom used to get really hot. Now I can enjoy the light without the extra heat in the summer. They also dim which is nice when you want to use the light at night, but don't want to be blinded.

Lumens are low, as stated in the product description - stars removed because they just don't compare to the filament GE reveal bulbs because GE isn't making high lumen reveal any longer. The light is wonderful though, just wished they offered a higher lumen reveal LED bulb.

Very Brite light ,I found it hard to look at it glare like the sun in your eyes. They do the job and are Unique to see .

Put a couple sets in our bathrooms. I know they're kind of cliche these days but I still think they're interesting - and people still talk about them.
