Works as promised
My fb account was hacked in April of 2023 and it took me 3 weeks to get it back. Once I did get it back, I wanted to protect my account and make it a lot harder to get in.I use this key as part of my two-factor authentication. I can get into fb right away, by using this key. That means I don't always have to have my phone. If you want to lock up your account so that it can't be hacked, this is a great tool to help you do just that.

Does not work with iPhone 14 Pro Max
The NFC doesn't work with the iPhone 14 Pro Max. Good thing I also bought a Feitian epass K40, which does work. Yubico is still the easiest to use, but pricey. This is good for Android device though and cheap.

Not compatible with macOS
Purchased this product on the basis that the manufacturers website states it's compatible with macOS. Installed the macOS drivers from the manufacturers website (identiv) but upon trying to use the key, my Mac Book Pro recognized it as a USB device but not as a security token. Contacted identiv technical support only to be told the device isn't compatible with macOS.

Decent Build Quality, Works perfectly as a FIDO2 key, does NOT support TOTP
NOTE: All prices mentioned in this post are relevant to the time of writing this review. Prices may change.Suggestion:Get the basic NFC version of this key rather than spending a bit more on the NFC+ version. TOTP is not supported, contrary to their claims. The short-and-quick:Works perfectly fine as an affordable basic FIDO2 security key, but don't bother with this NFC+ unless you know what "PIV" is and you already plan to use it. Get the uTrust NFC instead. The USB-C version may have a better build quality than the previous USB model. I don't have it to compare.Cons:As stated, despite repeating the claim in the product description AND on their website, this key does not support TOTP. If you were hoping to get similar functionality to what's found in the $50-ish Yubikey 5 series then you're out of luck. That's not happening. No, not even in Identiv's own software. Seriously, support for it does not exist, so don't buy this key for it.Pros:It works as a basic FIDO2 security key, which is quite useful on its own. I'm using this and a $25 Yubico "Security Key" on all of my sites which support two keys, and their performance as both USB and NFC keys have been functionally identical thus far.Build quality does not actually seem to be bad. This key is thick and there's metal around the inside of the loop for the keyring.Miscellaneous:The "touch button" is indented fairly deep into the key. It's not a huge deal. I have big hands and it's more of a pinky button for me, but even I can use my index finger to tap it if I want to.Honestly, I wish that I had bought two uTrust NFC keys for the price of one Yubikey.Their key management software is extremely basic, but functional, and they have no mobile software.Their "documentation" is basically useless. It's a few paragraphs with a few screen shots. Other than saying that the "secret key" is 32 characters long, the PDF is otherwise useless.
